What happens to inventory when you cancel subscription

I haven't subbed yet because I haven't seen improvement in the games performance with regards to crashing etc. I would like to check out the DLC and was thinking of subbing for a month or two (im a crafter too) but was curious if I load my crafting bag full of stuff and then cancel, do I lose all that stuff when/if I cancel?

they sit in there still usable but once removed cannot be put back in

In the end I opted to just buy the DLC pack. Started dark brotherhood. Blade of Woe sure is fun
