Night mothers embrace

Does night mothers embrace come in heavy? I think its in medium but I also heard heavy. I need to know if it can be looted in heavy.

Prior to Thieves Guild it was medium, in Thieves Guild it became heavy. When One Tamriel was launched, it went back to Medium.

Heavy versions of it do exist. I've got a complete set (though some of it's bound and some pieces are 150), but it no longer drops as a heavy set. (In fact, I think there's no way to get any heavy thieves guild style armor now, short of crafting it.)

Also, there used to be Healthy versions of the jewelry. Now those only drop as Robust. You may be able to still find the heavy armor in guild kiosks. Though I've no idea where the price is at for those pieces now.

Yeah. It was never supposed to exist as a heavy set to begin with.

Yes it was accidently dropping as heavy up until recently

I have had 2 pieces of heavy drop in the last 2 weeks so yes it does come in heavy, I wasn't farming it though and I think 1 of the pieces came from a chest but you can get it.

I kept heavy parts of it when it was dropping in heavy in deshaan until they fixed it to medium again. This thread makes me think it would be the right time to put the heavy parts in guild store now

NME was originally a medium set in the Daedric style.

When Thieves Guild launched, ZOS had three sets that dropped from the troves: Shadow Dancer (originally light), Darkstride (originally medium), and NME (originally medium). They wanted one light set, one medium set, and one heavy set, so in order to fit that scheme, they needed to change one of the medium sets to heavy, and NME drew that short straw.

When One Tamriel launched, the troves no longer dropped these three sets; instead, they drop whatever set drops in the zone, similar to treasure chests. NME was moved from the trove loot table to the Deshaan loot table. The intent, once again, was to have one light, one medium, and one heavy. Sorrow and Plague are the light and heavy sets, and NME was returned to its original medium weight.

However, although they added medium NME to the game's data for One Tamriel, there was an error in the Deshaan loot table that was causing it to drop the TG-era heavy NME instead of the medium NME as intended (so Deshaan was dropping two heavy sets and one light set). This bug was fixed after a couple of weeks, so NME was no longer available in heavy. However, the old heavy pieces acquired from when Thieves Guild launched to when they fixed Deshaan's loot table in OT are still in the game, and some of those pieces may still be in circulation in the player economy. Though as time wears on, they will become increasingly rare and difficult to find for sale.

Anyway, it never really made much sense for NME to be heavy, since builds that emphasize stealth should go full medium for the medium armor sneak passives.
