Playstation 4 eso plus members, can u pay ur sub with psn gift cards from the physical store?

Title says it all, if I buy someone a couple psn gift cards from walmart n they activate them to there psn account n the funds r added to there wallet can they pay for there eso plus sub this way? Has anyone done this on ps4 n can confirm it works for there eso plus membership? Ty in advance n Merry Christmas!

Yes. I pay for my sub with wallet funds. I don't put credit card info on my ps4.
