Im trying to find a good build for pvp with heavy armor and two handers, but looking for something where I can use more abilities and not be punished for going stamina.

Actually dks are the class with the most skills that cost magicka (only 2 of the 30 class morphs cost stamina) while nbs have the least amount of magicka skills.

But I don't get how your title is related to the rest of your post.

Sorcerers have 2 stamina morphs too, one of them being a toggle. So yeah, Sorcerers are the class with the least amount of stamina morphs...

And OP, pretty much every class only has 2 skills with stamina morphs. Night blades are the exception with 4.

There are some abilities with just physical damage rather then magicka which are not based on either stat so im asking about these as well.

Templars have 3 and also repentance scales to both magicka and stamina.

Title is misleading??? how? i knew exactly what this thread was gonna be based off the title. @CosmicSoul Stam deathknights are very strong if youre looking for a warrior esk class. You will have a couple of mage-like damaging abilities that scale with stamina though. The other few magicka skills you will use will be defensive focused like Wings (reflect), dragon spikes (armor buff/increased healing) and igneous shield (small shield/increased healing).

Which is more fun in the magey warrior type of playstyle in your opinion templar or dk?

i dont really like the feel of jabs but i love the skill lines so i would say dk. stam sorc is also alot of fun to play and really strong atm. Youll be a lightning warrior however youll only be using your magicka for 1 buff, a teleport that stuns enemies, and a spell that drains your magicka to give you health and stamina back. that might sound more appealing to you.

Yea I found some videos and I think id rather just go magicka templar with heavy armor and use the spear line mostly if I want to run a melee templar, with a two handed it looked weird and clunky.

But the dk only has 2 abilities that can moprh which do not seem interesting do dk stamina builds even use any flame abilities at all?

Yeah magicka templars will feel pretty hybrid-like with their charge and jab abilities. the 2 stamina dk abilities are poison DoTs. Stam dks and stam sorcs both rely on the weapon skill lines. I really enjoy the 2h abilities and the SnB abilities so i personally favor those classes. i can see how uppercut might seem clunky on a templar with jabs but on the stam dk and the stam sorc youre using those skill lines and your class just simply accents your build in its own unique way.

Maybe I will try stam dk but my issue is there does not seem much diversity beyond weapon skills for the dk, that is why I am trying to find out if we can even use flame abilities to help dps they are based on magicka.

Yeah there really isnt..there is 2 flame abilities that you can morph to stam to help dps that turn into a poisonous flame.
