I used a costume for the first time ever when I got a Grothdarr helmet... it's not even that it is so ugly (it is).. it's that my Altmer's head seems to shrink to about 3/4s pf the size when I equip it. It really is a terrible looking hat. I now also hide Infernal Guardian too... I like the glowing orb 'eye' but the rest of it is pretty awful.
