Had to go with Snow Bear, I love that there's new animations for it, but also like how it feels like a proper fun community sort of event. Have to go to the three locations, and there's NPCs there "doing the same thing", feels sort of like one that might happen in real life haha :)

When I'm not, I like to see how fast I can unlock all the chests.
Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

It give me a little bit of appreciation towards game dev for making this huge places to go that sometimes I lost my direction into other country (I'm looking at you, Craglorn).

From a gameplay perspective I really enjoy the Mudball quest – it's simple, it's easy, it's fun; I'm not waiting for anything to spawn, I don't have to do anything in a particular order like the Lava Foot Stomp or Charm Challenge (really, why do I have to visit the inns in that exact order? Who parties like that???).

From a lore perspective the Fire Sprint is interesting and I want to know more about how dancing got banned in Dunmer lands. (I'm assuming the Tribunal did it, because...? We never find out the because.)

I will note, however, that as soon as my main found out how the Five-Clawed Guile test actually worked, she went and made a bunch of clay pieces the exact size and shape as the Rahjin coins, with a message stamped on the back to the effect of 'redeemable for one free drink from the Craglorn Dominion Embassy' and then stuffed her pockets with them and went to pick locks every time a major trade caravan stopped by for the festivities. With luck, some enterprising soul will get it into his or her head to start forging them, and she'll get lots of visitors when the embassy opens.

I don't really like any of the quests. They were cute and fun the first I did them back on the PTS. But they get old very, very quickly.

That said, throwing mudballs is fun, and that pouch is now my favorite collectible of all time. So I'll vote for the mudball quest, even though the quest is unconnected to the memento.

It'd probably be mudballing people if the controls were more responsive. I love the ambassador's barks when they get tagged.

Yeah, what I'm not thrilled with is the gift box RNG. If it was just the motif... okay. But the recipes being tied to the title is agrivating. Having to run everything two or three times for the achievements would be one thing. Cracking 270 boxes hoping for that last Hissmir recipe for your third character? Not so much.

Absolutely none of them, in particular the fish boon.

I'm one of the people who have never fished, will never fish, and don't want to fish and while I understand there are players who enjoy this activity and the achievements I don't.

If they were going to make you fish to complete the event the should have made the fishing holes so the never de spawned and changed the loot tanle so you always caught one of three fish and removed used bait from the loot table. You should not have to spend any more Rhine then minimally necessary to accomplish this.

This particular event is absolutely terrible.

I do enjoy it, and noted that while I was there many folks were saying in chat that they had this or that fish or fishes extra in case anyone wanted them. Shouldn't be too hard if you ask for help.
Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.
    ***
Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

    I can fish.

I choose not to, I find it boring and don't enjoy it.

And while using a holiday event to introduce players to an aspect of the game they may not know about or have tried before is cool. Putting barriers in place that make an already boring activity more boring is in my opinion bad design.

They could have removed junk from the loot table saving players time.

They could have removed the despawn - respawn timer from the holiday fishing holes and saved the synchronized movement from position to a position saving players time.

I wouldn't have enjoyed it either way but it would be more bearable and is an easy quality of life fix for those who do not enjoy fishing, which I have no data on but suspects is the majority.

Snow Bear Plunge and Mudball are the most fun to me, but after completing the quests some days in a row I appreciate the lockpick one since it's the quickest to complete xD

All quests are really fun though.

This exactly. I liked those two best for a few days, but today I just bought the three motifs I was missing to get the achievements on the two characters I was trying for because it has gotten more tedious than anything now. If they had spread things out more so that lag wasn't a factor, like having multiple locations for each event, it would have been better.

Really, they should have just had 4 events per day (two boxes per turn in) and rotated through them randomly so that they didn't get stale as quickly.
