Thank you for The New Life Festival

I would like to thank ZoS for one off best New Life Festival i have done/doing after so many MMO i have been play in i found that ESO is probably best one yet i have take part in it is really different and some humour in.

I mean you can never go wrong with throw mudball on people or kings and queen right (Mud Ball Merriment) or what about jump in ice cold water (Snow Bear Plunge)

No ZoS thank you for finally a funny event i hope you keep do those event for i think the are funny to do and i hope you keep add new things in future.

I know it is not every often ZoS read something positive but i think this New Life Festival is a keeper to be honest

The more events they celebrate, the more incentive players have to play even after they have done everything else.

It's a great event... with one exception, those mud ball things are becoming deeply tedious. It was funny the first dozen times you get hit, after that it really starts to grind on your patience

Meh.. doing the quests once was already enough for me. I liked the previous event better.

I am really enjoying it as well. Each quest is unique, relatively quick to complete and they have a bit of lore/history involved which I like. The cannonball animation is great and so are the entertainer ones: juggling knives, fire breathing and sword swallowing. I hope to see the entertainer ones in a personality. The gift box items are much better too! I don't feel like my inventory is getting swamped with boxes and motifs. Over I think ZOS did a great job!

My only change would be to move the Khajiit one out of Rawl'ka. I tried to help someone port there and they crashed because so many people are just loitering near the wayshrine. Had to port to a different wayshrine and escort him/her to the town.

Yes events are great I know we have a few that moan about them being a new grind but that's bc they are doing it wrong. Events keeps an mmo alive and different it's a change up from the norm. I've enjoyed this event a lot even in pvp I find myself throwing mudballs around.

Yeh, I'm really enjoying the Infinite Loadscreens Festival too! Also know as Can't Port Into Wrothgar To Craft Julianos Festival. Also known as Your POS Servers can't Handle Events So Don't Do Anymore Again Festival.

But hey, glad everyone can throw mudballs at each other!

The performance on consoles is really bad in everything.. Its like Zenimax punishes you for playing an MMO on console..

Sidenote: never liked any MMO on console.. For me consoles are good for games like mortal kombat, fifa and wwe

I agree, it's an enjoyable event with some amusing stuff and far more variety than in the Halloween event - that was also very good, but it was basically a case of camping one spot with the same fight every 5 minutes until you had all the rewards. This event has had a lot more thought and content put into it and the travelling around makes it more interesting especially for those exploring new places for the first time.

If only the console and PC NA performance issues could get resolved, I guess a lot more people would be happy.

Nicely thought out bit of silly fun, not overly grind focused like the last one... nice range of events and unless you mind the ride from Windhelm the overload issues at the nearest shrine were easily overcome.

It's hardly salt. It's a legitimate complaint about the game not working.

I'm enjoying it too. The quests are amusing, the experience buff is great. I've gained a lot of CP and my main character has the magnanimous achievement now.

Oh and I love the skinchanger motif and the recipes.

Now I'm just waiting for the elk to be released so I can spend my hard-earned crowns. The elk will be mine!

I agree with OP! But I am a new player and I have a question: the way everyone words it, it is as if this and the witch are the very first holiday events this game has ever had?

Also you players can budball me all you want! This is nothing compared to the pain I went through in G***d W**s 2. Those devs are completely evil - especially on April Fools Day! Omg I was stuck in a jet pilot arms extended pose animation with the hideous (on purpose) sound of a dev's voice-acting a jet plane for HOURS. You have no idea the pain. These mudballs are nothing!

That is not to say I have had some frustration with comprehension of quest completion but I overall give this New Life Festival a 10/10. Voice acting was on spot. Animations smooth. Themes happy and in context with the game's lore. Nice variety.

Very frustrating event for me. I have completed the fire signal sprint quest several times, achievement not updating. As for stonetooth bash, have learned recipee on two different characters to find I cannot make the twice spiked ales. What is the point if you cannot get the achievement. So, for me, the event is a total waste of time and will not be bothering with it any more.

Yup. First time the game has had events. I think because of community outcry for them they decided to start doing them we're happy they did

Yes i total agree with you and im sorry to hear that some people in this post dont like this event but if i compare New Life Festival to Halloween event i have to say New Life Festival is more fun for to me Halloween event you just stand around kill one boss over and over again and that feel more grinder to me then New Life Festival do

It's nice, but it's too easy.

It would be nice if there was even a little challenge. I really like Breda and the lore/backstories to some of the festivities. But the actual mechanics of them leave a little to be desired. Still it's a step in the right direction - I think - from the Witches Festival, so that's good.

there are 2 different timers on the fire signal..the visible one is for the quest...but there's also a shorter one for the achievement. you have to do it in 35 seconds I believe for the achievement...as for the recipe...it is probably due to the passives not being high enough on your provisioning skill...if you can add points, that should take care of it, if that's not an option, you may be able to trade or buy the ales...just get enough for a one-time achievement for each of your participating characters

The Bergama sprint one, the easiest way to get the achievement (light all fires within 35 seconds) is to group and each take a brazier. Go to the NPC there and ask people for a group.

Also the Betnikh one, every time I have been there to do that quest, there are loads of people there giving away or selling the ale to help people get the achievement, I usually take a load there myself so I can give it away to people who don't have any.

This isn't a single player game - try asking the community a bit more if there's stuff you cannot do solo, that is pretty much the point of it being a multiplayer game!

PVE Performance on console is good but PVP is still suffering!

It's still going on, so you still have a chance. Visit the crown store for a free scroll item to give you the quest.

Also it's mentioned in the news section on the start screen (on console at least), and one of the "featured crownstore items" that now appears when you login is the free item to get the quest.

Pretty sure i also got an email. And the news page on the website has it. (Although admittedly you have to click through to the "all news" pages, or you will only get the ones that ZoS chooses to display on the front page... and that doesn't change too often.

And it was on the forums.

It HAS been mentioned in quite a lot of places...
