Suggestion: Next Year's New Life Festival

First I would like to say that I am grateful for the new content that the New Life Festival brings and am enjoying it. .

However, there is one major problem with the New Life Festival that I see. No, I am not referring to the lag and server crashes, but my suggestion would likely help with that too. I am talking about how non-interactive this festival is with our fellow players!

The New Life Festival has the players travelling around the Tamriel map to complete the quests. That does have us going back to places that most of us haven't been to since we probably did the initial quests. While it's good to see players spread out in cities we haven't been to in a long time. The problem is that the players are doing these quests that are so spread out that we go in, do what we need to, and leave to go on to the next quest. The major problem is that there is no incentive to stay and interact with other players! The Witches Festival was a grind, but that was one of the best parts I enjoyed about it. I grouped with friends, sat on a World Boss, and interacted with others while we waited for the respawn.

Not all players want to interact with others, but this is an MMO and these festivals should be more interactive with others.

Suggestion: Create a new, instanced area to contain all the quests in one location off the main map. Off the top of my head I can recall one example where this already exists in Reaper's March. Thormar is an optional quest area where the player goes through a portal to a Deadric festival and have the option to blow up some chickens! This format would work perfectly for the Festival, with multiple portal entries at the major cities of each faction. Hadaran's Caravan in Reaper's March would also be a fun area to incorporate into a festival as well!

A portal instanced area would probably work the best though so players can go off the main map to help improve server performance for those not participating in the festival.

Nine daily quest are good but people would still run through them just for the reward so hopefully some repeatable quests with lesser rewards would also be added to this additional area to keep players there. A thought that has come to my mind is the Darkmoon Faire from World of Warcraft, an area where players gather to do some repeatable quests, and where some players go to meet other players and interact with them. In this area, add a Dummy Skeleton with 1 health out of a billion so the healer spammers have a convenient place to spam heals!

I would include ideas for additional quests that would include crafting and competitions but I'll stick with my main idea of instancing an area specifically for this Festival.

Let us have some fun! Give us quests that would entice us to interact with other players! Let us play with other players!
