Well, last few months I am way more into PvP. I estimate its like 80% PvP Vs 20% PvE for me.

Most opinions i read about is: Nerf everything that makes pvp unenjoyable for either side of the fight. There is no enjoyment to be found in mechanics that don´t allow for counterplay.
Namely those are: Destroult (with gapclosers); Stealthganking; Tankbuilds (apart from bring enough people); Proccbuilds (rgn might f*** you)

The toxic part are mostly players defending cheese mechanics because they don´t care about having pvp - just about getting ap and easy wins - not the ones crying for nerfs.

but now mainly pve and on pvp I was maybe just 3-4 times since OT because meh...just because more proc sets with heavy armor and destro ulti zergs

That's not to say I don't PVP. Occasionally I do. But the lag from zergs does detract from the fun of it.

I PvE in order to get to PvP. Not that I'm not enjoying PvE, however, at some point I get bored of following the quest stories, and I just want some action. It's like "Yeah, yeah, kill some stuff, get this item, choose whether this guy gets to live or die based on the stories I don't care about by flipping a gold coin, and cash in the rewards, regardless of whether the person paying me is crying in tears or dancing with joy." That's not how I can enjoy PvE.

However, PvP is just "Here are some missions, get to work!" and then you just follow a group of players right into the action. The knowledge of facing enemies that ARE able to kill you makes the game more exciting for me. The fact that you might die, sorry *will die, is what makes me sweat, hold my breath and keeps me on the edge of my chair. PvP can give me that, PvE only has World Bosses and Group dungeons, but even so, they're fighting patterns are easily learned, players come in different styles. Most go with a build they've found online, others have their own OP build, more other have a complete random build that somehow works out really well in group fights, ... You always have to come up with new strategies to rule in PvP, or just do whatever you're doing to help out. Either way, I enjoy it.

When I want some action, fast and realy hard fights I for PvP, when I want to relax I go for PvE, when I cant decide I go for IC ;P Eventhough this game has its flaws, I love it. Yes it could be much better with all that potential, but its still amazing and very entertaining.

Pve is boring. Nothing to do.

Monster helms can be 3 man grinded, then done!

If I wanted to run around with WW1 weaponry and murder ppl, I would do that irl. Also, PvP in ESO, despite all lag and bs has much more melee fighting.

I 100% prefer pvp.

Pve is just so boring and scripted to be fun.

Though saying that all high end pve'ers have to pvp.

And all pvp'ers have to pve.

I cant really say I prefer the pve or pvp. PVE is all about mechanics and once learned, everything is cake. I.e. every make a hard mode vma i've seen lately.
And PVP has degraded into either zerglings, ball groups rolling with eots, and proctard gankers. None of which require much skill.

And the pvers being forced to pvp for the skill can take as little as a couple days. After ZOS reduced the ap req of the skill line.
But, pvpers being forced to pve grind for gear and undaunted passives can take weeks if lucky. And the VMA wep drop system is terrible.

If it weren't for the people ive met while playing, I would've left long ago.

I like pvp, i just don't have the time to play both equally. I am however sick of the pve vs pvp debate, war, feud or whatever you want to call this nonsense.

please just stop with the whole PvE vs PvP thing. They are both part of the same game. Most people play both. Just let it go!

Started with 3 months of PvE as I was new to MMOs and had no real clue about PvP (some would argue I still don't) then played probably 70% PvP until about 3-4 months ago when the cheating got rampant, ZoS to all intents and purposes turned a blind eye and it just got too depressing to bother with... have been dabbling with PvP a bit recently but it's all proc sets and destro ultis and frankly that is dull whether you run in groups or solo. So right now playing a lot more PvE again and unless ZoS get a clue about what makes PvP fun I doubt I'll return to playing it day in day out like I did for most of 2 years...

If I PvP now it's in imperial city, can't be arsed to run around for hours and barely find fights in cyrodiil. Probably go there once a week but normally don't stay long. PvE is far more relaxing.

No clue why there should be any hostility between PvP and PvE players.
The only PvE content I really enjoyed were the Orsinium quests. By far the most interesting storyline and a great map. Everything else is just grinding for gear/skills to me. PvP is exciting because it's unpredictable.

I dabble in PvP, but I spend most of my time in PvE.

I haven't finished Cadwell's Gold yet though - I've got Greenshade, Malabal Tor and Reaper's March still to go - and then cleanup of everything I've missed on the way. Then I have to choose between Craglorn, Cyrodiil, Orsinium & Imperial City... Not sure which I will go for.

I wouldn't say I ever do one to compete within the other. I just play what I feel like at the time.

Well technically not equally, I PvE more than PvP. I do wish I did more PvP than PvE but the poor state of PvP prevents me from doing so. It's kind of sad actually, if ZoS showed PvP some more love I'd probably end up sticking around much longer.

I have always been more a PVE player than a PVP, however I enjoy PVP as well.
