Stam NB help with new dropped sets

I've been away from the game for about a year and decided to create a new character, a stam NB, and I've noticed new sets dropping in different zones. I don't recall ever seeing them before (maybe I was just oblivious). But these sets seem way better than the crafted ones now and most are tailored to each class.
I came across a werewolf set that gives me bonus to stamina and weapon damage (perfect for my NB).
My question is, are these dropped sets that much better or should I stick with the crafted sets? I noticed everything drops scaled to level so where should I farm the best gear for a Stam NB? Also, are these sets only heavy, light, medium, or a mix in between?

It shows whether they are medium, light, heavy, or drop in all 3.
There are lots of great stamblade sets out there. DPS wise, you have sets like Spriggan, Draugr Hulk, Automaton, Viper, Widowmaker, and others that are all great.PC/NA

Are they better? Depends on your Build and Playstyle.Most people still mix in a Crafted set, some chase the Proc Meta, some don't care.
Find the zones that have the sets you want to use or try, and farm the Delves, Public Dungeons, World Bosses and Dolmens for the gear. You may want to try a few different sets.
If the set is a Stamina Set, it probably drops in Medium only. Tanky sets drop in Heavy. But, we do see some sets in Heavy that suit a Melee DPS so there is that. You won't find any Stamina or Tanky sets in Light.
