Only 5 mimic stones with the purchase of Crafting Motif: Stalhrim Frostcaster Style...??

For the Witch Mothers festival the Crown Store Motif came with a large bundle of Mimic stones if I am correctly thinking... so why so few mimic stones with the New Life Motif? First of all is the only way to craft the new Stalhrim Frostcaster armor via mimic stones or are this another style material available that has not been mentioned? I really wanted to purchase this cool looking motif but if I have to buy mimic stones just to craft it then I think I will pass!
