Is there a Frostcaster crown motif style stone?

If I buy the Frostcaster motif, do I need to use a Mimic Stone everytime I craft an item? Or is there an style stone that I can get without buying with crowns?

You need mimic stones initially, but if you craft a piece, and then deconstruct that piece, it'll give you a style material from it. That's the only way for Crown Store exclusives.

The style gem is called Stahlrim Shard, which you can only get by deconstructing Frostcaster gear. So yeah, you have to start with mimic stones.

Only 5 mimic stones ... after that you have to buy more with crowns.

Unless, like me, you have a bunch left over from the Grim Harlequin bundle ...
