EXP removal Plox

I would like to request and ask the community on there thoughts on a crown store item that could remove exp from your character so you won't level.

This exp removal item would be for the purpose of not out leveling bwb non vet pvp. Right now you get exp way to fast even just killing players. I would like to keep my character in bwb and not go to vet I have a vet pvp character already but I'm enjoying bwb a lot.

I'm sure some people will have an issue with an item like this because bwb would be turned into a lvl 49 pvp area. New people learning pvp won't stand a chance against a fully buffed up 49 and might leave but people already play with super buffed low levels.

Personally I just don't want to start over again after I out level bwb and hit champ rank. The skyshard hunting main quest for skill points fighter guild leveling mage guild leveling getting rank again for skills like vigor it's a lot just to enjoy the same pvp.

As lonh as they make a seperate Cyrodiil for those people. Locking your lvl allows you to farm sets and make yourself far stronger than what non-vet campaign is for

Great point but what if they could only be used in cyrodill and as soon as you leave you get exp?

Try to go a veteran campaign with no Champion Points to see if you have a similar experience with BWB. The no Champion Point system will make you feel a bit similar to BWB and perhaps you can have fun in there as well.

The problem is that you will then have "professional" low levels.

People like BWB because there aren't as many huge power gaps as in other campaigns.

But if one character can stay indefinitely at level 49, you can farm gear for level 49, gold all the gear for level 49, and then the huge gap is there again.

I have and don't like it. It's the proc sets that I don't like and monster helms I like the simple crafted set with skill pvp.

Seems to be 2 options then a new server for lvl 49 not really an option or just have to delete character and restart again.

You can still farm gear just will take a long long time. 1st lvl ur character to 45 then start farming gear once you lvl to champ delete character start over until you have the set. You can do this for ever 5 levels and have the same sets for each jump in level. Would take a long time but you could still have a super strong character

Personally I like the kinda perma-death that goes along with BWB when you turn 50. I look at the rest of ESO as their afterlife

Yeah, but that is still not as optimal as having all level on your gear.

I've tried once to make a definitive set for low levels, it is just too hard to get all the pieces you want with the traits you want on that level or very close to it, unless is crafted.

I know a few guildies that have purple of even gold crafted sets for BWB alts at different level tiers, but crafted sets are usually not as strong as dropped ones so the gap isn't that great.

@Bashev , although I'm a BwB regular while I wait out the proc meta, there really aren't low-skill players in BwB. You don't have the monster sets or drop sets that vet affords you and you need to learn to actually play for your kills. That combined with no CP makes it feel a lot like 1.5 to me.

That said, I really disagree with the XP cap thing. It just starts a scenario where you pause your toon at level 48. If you want to enjoy BwB, then put the time in. It's a pain in the ass, but it doesn't take a lot of time even to dawnbreaker grind, get vigor, and get all the skill points to fill out all trees, FG, and something like WW. Sack up and get over wanting selfish things for convenience's sake.

And you want to say that if there is a way to block your xp gain and stay at level 49 ppl will not farm the proc sets? You need one friend higher level and you can farm the set.

@Bashev , all bonuses of sets work in nonvet now. Proc sets are pretty bad in BwB. Procs will scale with level and when I have run into someone wearing viper they tend to have bad traits on their gear and their procs only hit around 2k. Pretty underwhelming.

Running solid crafting sets and eschewing 5 piece bonuses with some exceptions tends to be the best plan for BwB.

That's why I added the part in my OP about it becoming a lvl 49 pvp. It's true the item is out of laziness to have to do it all over again and you can even argue it's pay to win bc ur buying advantage over other players. It's why I ask the community there opinion. Thanks for your reply

People have monster helm at lvl 49 as well

Great and they can use that for 1 level it's not everyone on the map as a whole bwb is a much better and fair pvp area then vet. This really is not a topic on why I started bwb this is a topic that I'm asking the community opinion on and why I like it. I fully understand the cons of it. I also understand the cons of vet pvp it's a mess and just horrible for competitive pvp

The community opinion on the matter as a whole bc we talked about it in game I thought I ask here too.

I think the community consensus (including much of the BwB community) is that an XP stoppage is a bad plan. It would ruin our campaign.

Still trying to figure out why everyone says u will stop levelling at 48-49 considering that at those levels ur stats are crap.

@pieratsos , at level 48 you can have crafted sets + other gear and you will have all the skills (maybe not morphed) that you need. I would rather have skills than the slightly higher max stats.

Its not slightly higher its a lot higher since there are no lvl 45 glyphs. Only if you have non crafted gear dropped at ur exact lvl u wont have that problem and u dont need to be lvl48 to get all the skills you need. You can get them much earlier

as someone who played Aion when the lvl 35 level stall was a thing, things like this ruin games. Didn't help that the ratio between the 2 factions was screw 30:1 in favor of the light faction.

I rather not see level stalling in mmorpg.

Assuming that people play in BwB just to kill new players is sad. I know its hard for you to understand but some people play this game to have fun. If you are having fun with all the proctards and mindless zergs good for you. Some of us want to actually use our abilities and not just spam two buttons.

I'm new to bwb and have to say the player are very skilled and the fights are not easy at all
