What's the best race for a stamina Sorcerer for PvE?

Mines currently a Khajit however I've been toying with the idea of race changing to red guard for the extra sustain. I'm wondering though if there's much difference (not including score maelstrom runs)

Don't really want to fork out for a race change is the sustain isn't going to be massively noticeable.

I'm not running viscous Ophidian yet which will be a game changer when I get the last few pieces alone.

Thoughts?

If one race changes what happens to the skill point passive you've spent on racials?

^ Not even close. Probably the fourth worst choice.

As for OP, right answer would be Khajiit.

Just back bar Dark Deal. Also VO is insanely strong.

If you can sustain (weaving, picking up shards, your healers using repentance) then khajiit is a no brainer. This is easier with vo (but note that vo doesn't give u stam from killing adds in boss fights).

For Pve in the long run (as you will get better and learn to sustain better) the khajiit passives win out. For vma dark deal+vo are more than enough.

However if you want to pvp as well then redguard is more well rounded.

So no, not worth it unless you reallllly struggle with sustain

No need to change - you got one of the best races for a stamsorc.

I use imperial and it works great but if I were to change it would be to a khajit.

Khajiit is the strongest race for a stam DPS spec. Redguard is the second best for PvE and the best for PvP.

Longer fights I have more issues with Stam management and that's weaving mediums into my flurry.

I'm just looking at my current passives, carnage is the only helpful passive (8% crit)

The health and Stam regen doesn't mean much because my regen is low anyway.

I thought redguard for the max Stam and the adrenaline passive TBH.

A friend of mine keeps trying to persuade me to run vMA on Stam sorc I just don't think mines strong enough with the right gear just yet.

Anyway I'm rambling.....

As many said khajiit is best then redguard then imperial then dunmer. Rest is equally *** maybe orc is a bit better.

Stay Khajit . Dark Deal is more than enough to sustain through everything . If you don't want to use Dark Deal , go Redguard .

Everyone says Khajiit has more dps.. What is the dps difference between Khajiit and Redguard under same conditions? If fight gets longer while we are using dark deal arent we loosing dps? I will change my race of stamsorc(breton) and i still dont know what to choose.

redguard is the master race for any stamina build, you do not need dark deal or any other form of stamina regen, you can sustain trought any fight and it's hands down the best stamina race for pvp.

extra crit from khajiit wont matter much if a redguard in the same fight is continuasly dpsing while you have to fill a valuable skill slow with dark deal and fit the skill in your rotation.

in the end your personal choice matters more but since youve asked which is better there you go.

When comparing Khajiit and Redguard stamsorcs, both of which are ideal races for it, there's no need to race change in order to trade +crit for stamina. Doing it with gear and mundus stones is one hell of a lot easier and can be fine-tuned... much cheaper too since race change is so bloody expensive.

You get resource sustain from dark deal, so you dont need that much sustain.

I prefer Orc since they have both max heath and max stamina and a unique 4% melee damage bonus.

The healing recieved is also nice and the run speed with hurricane is really fun specially in pvp.

Crit damage builds will be nerfed next patch so khajihts damage will significantly drop.
