Dungeons/Trials activity finder - Add Trials queue (December 2016)

I hoped to share my point of view on some opportunities specific to dungeons/Trials and the activity finder for all platforms. The hope is that it causes discussions but that we don't get into arguments or going off topic.

This is highly opinionated but I think it births a good discussion collaboration of different threads

1. Role confirmation requirement per dungeon (suggestion)
-By now many of us whether it be manual or via the queue of activity finder, have come across traditional roles, mixed roles and preferred roles And ppl who get grouped who are afk or who have selected multiple roles to get a faster queue. Let's resolve this now....

When some dungeons require more or less of certain roles, I'm suggesting that if people are to enter a queue, that they are required to confirm their role first before being grouped and before entering the queue. If not they stay in queue....basic hopefully if possible.

To be clear, I'm not saying that groups can't run with all dps or 3:1 and what not but I am saying that the role icons should always be confirmed by each player so that it's clear. Confirmation is a radial choice so a role is still suggested but it has to be confirmed but can be accepted and a different role can be chosen, this would cause you to go back to queue tho.

The other part of this is that the confirmation happens prior to rule out afk players as well as players who may not want to be X role for the listed dungeon

These should help improve the results of the queue and keep people in queue if they are afk until they return.
This also will prevent players being grouped for a dungeon they may feel they don't want to participate in or a role they'd rather not play in the specified dungeon.

***This means that the current travel to dungeon pop-up is instead a role and dungeon confirmation pop-up that if not selected, it automatically removes you or doesn't group you. ***

1.b. Vote to kick

-If the group wants to vote to kick someone it should always require a radial selection of why.
*Not fulfilling role (includes low dps or not using skills, gear etc)
*AFK
*D/C
*behavior (includes being rude, or not working with the group)

- so if someone is kicked they should see the selection so it's clear

1.c. The 15 minute timer

-I'm listing ideas above and below in hopes of drastically reducing the possibility that this will occur

2. Daily reward should allow up to 7 sequential runs per week with the daily bonus per run instead of only once daily.

-The suggestion here is around encouraging players to play when they have time but not to force and or limit play by using a daily bonus.
There are opportunities when finding a good solid group or when farming, to keep running but often times some players will leave because they are there for the daily bonus only.

*This should not only apply to random groups, it should apply per character to the first 7 dungeons completed in a week per character regardless
See the manual group ideas below as that technically should be considered a queue
The groups formed otherwise shouldn't be penalized tho....I think everyone should be encouraged by reward to do dungeons if they are....doing dungeons

Perhaps offering this in a weekly focus vs daily can better influence the grouping overall

3. Give credit for a full completion of someone joins a dungeon in progress via any activity finder

-There are a few threads weekly or comments at least where players are trying to complete daily undaunted or just complete a dungeon but they join in the middle or at the end. What oftens happens is they either drop and have a 15 min wait or they complete it partially only to disband and try and queue again

If someone has the quest in the group (literally anyone) then those quests should progress together and if shared, accepting it while as result of a queue should align with other group members inside the instance.

3.b. Allow sharing of undaunted daily dungeon quests

Plain and simple as mentioned just above. People needing to go out of a dungeon to try and grab a quest is a big delay but moreso, if you've joined via the activity finder it keeps throwing you back in every 30 seconds so you can't get the quests unless you already had it.

People want to play together and often times help others progress when it makes sense. Please help us do so

4. Give pre-formed groups a min level or min CP requirement option
-I'm not a popular fan of this BUT in order to better and more efficiently allow players to do content in a pre-formed group. Before they enter the queue, let the group leader set the requirement. I hope level or CP is a simple ask as dungeons so it seems are based on these two requirements already.

I'm hoping that same requirement can in reason be something the leader can choose.
Even if it's only basic as in only a few levels cause of the tiers so you pick enable level tier requirement.
For CP content, possibly basic selections like CP160 and the other being max CP (based on the current cap)

That's what seems to be desired

5. Manual Group LFG social tab For groups and trials
Trials normal and veteran (needs input)

-At one point there was a Trial queue, even tho it never worked successfully, there were options to join Trials in the old tool.
I'm not sure of what complications and or issues that resulted in removing this entirely BUT based on just a few threads  there is interest in having the opportunity to join one.

I don't feel this is optional, I feel as tho the activity finder has to offer Trials
My idea is this.....

In the activity finder section...there should be a sign up queue.
What I mean is every Hour with reset and clear, players should be able to sign up as LFG
The filters would use the actual activity finder random and specific queue drop downs but there would be a manual section

All this would do is by player selection, allow players to manual list themselves as LFG with their role, and specific dungeons and trial choices
It would produce a list that looks exactly like the guild tab social that shows name, level, class, role

We would only see the results based on the filter of our specific choice. So if I wanted to be added to a group I would anuall select role, normal or veteran and then the specific dungeons or Trials.
If I want to form a group, I'd manually go in and select only one specific dungeon or trial and by choice, invite each member listed.
They'd be prompted to join based upon the filter and role.

Do think it's important to clear out the queue every hour so to keep it simple, once someone queues they stay in while online and upon expiration, a pop up asks if you want to requeue....it gives 30 seconds to requeue

The invite would work like item #1
