Help a New player - stamplar

Hi guys!

I started to eso last week and I decided to play with a Redguard Stamplar. At the moment, I'm level 15 using dual wield, two-handed weapons and five pieces of medium armor (the other two are heavy), but I not so sure about the concept of my build.

The skills I've been using are: biding jabs, bliding javeling, rushed ceremony, stampede, flurry and nova.

So here goes the questions:

1) Can the restoring light skill tree give enough sustain for my character at PvP/PVE?
2) Should I change one of the weapons options for one handed and Shield for better sustain?
3) if I stick with dual wield, I'll use biding jabs on it's skill bar for higher damage. It looks to me a overkill to have biding jabs and flurry on the same skill bar. Should I change one of them for a AoE skill?
4) Should I change medium armor for heavy armor?
5) I know that Should add skill like repetence dawnbreaker. Dou you guys have another skills to recommend?

Thanks for your attention

Ps.: Sorry for my bad english. It's been a long time since a needed to write in english and i'm typing on my cellphone with portuguese autocorrect, which doesn't make it easier :D

First leveling character? Forget about Builds right now. No need, your handicapped anyway by the game so you are way more powerful than you need to be. Instead take advantage of this buff to properly level your character so you can be deadly when it matters later on. In other words, you can create a rotation that makes you think your all that and a biscuit because of the scaling buffs, then get a rude awakening come Champ Ranks when you are on your own.

Basically, right now if your wearing any gear, the mobs will die.

    1. Have one class skill on your bar at all times, swapping them out once the skill reaches Morph stage. Worry about your Morphs later.
    2. Have one weapon skill on your bar at all times, again until Morph stage
    3. Wear a mix of all 3 armor types so they all level about equally
    4. From L1 to L20, invest in attack skills and actives
    5. From L20 to L35 start investing in Passives and Support Skills
    6. From L35 to L50 start investing in Morphs (but only if all your class skills are at the Morph Stage), Passives and Crafting Skills
7 From CP10 to CP160 try out dropped sets to see which ones fit your playstyle, don't worry about traits right now, fill in passives and actives you may have missed
    8. Grind on Dolmens to level your Fighters Guild, or find the Lore Books to level Mages Guild
    9. Do some stealing to level Legerdemain, best source for money in the game
    10. Decon every piece of gear you get that you are not going to use immediately to level equipment crafting, no need to invest skills points until Champ Ranks.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

I have a stamplar, but I never play it because I never really found the enjoyment. However, I watched a video the other day that made me want to pull the character out of retirement.

One thing I would suggest is to think about removing DW and replacing it with a bow. You can shoot the bow, and then use the 1H gap closer, then use jabs when you are up close.

If you haven't started PvP yet, I would definitely start now to get your AW skills leveled to unlock vigor and caltrops.

Google stamplar and watch some video on builds, its a good place to start.
