Anyone else hope ZOS puts crowns on sale soon?

As the title says bunch of friends and I are praying they put crowns on sale for the holidays. Did they put them on sale last december?

They've had loads of sales lately, so I don't think we can expect anything soon

They were put on sale last year, but that was only because of the ESO Free to Play weekend event. This year however, the Free to Play weekend was held before the Black Fredas sale and had no reduced prices on crowns. I don't think there will be another sale before next year, but you never know.

I'd love it if they did. Between Christmas, Guns N' Roses tickets (and associated hotels and travel costs), and needing a new graphics card I don't have a lot of spare cash right now and I really want the elk mount. I've already spent my left over crowns on the white wolf.

I can afford it either way (although if it's more than 2,500 crowns I'm not going to get it because that's the most I'm willing to pay for a novelty mount), but it'd be really nice if there was a sale on crowns to make it cheaper.

But it seems unlikely there will be a sale until mid-January at the earliest since they just had one at the end of November.

While we never really know when there will be a sale, my completely uninformed opinion is that we won't see another sale before housing gets released. ZOS know people will buy houses with crowns, and if those crowns are full price...

You have to say, "Boy, I sure have enough crowns for a while, despite buying tons of stuff. It will be a very long time before I buy crowns. I hope they don't put them on sale because then I won't be able to resist buying them."

That's when you should stock up. I often spend $100+ on them when they are available on sale. That way when the nice limited time offers come around, it doesn't hurt as much...

I really hope there is another sale soon. With all the various new awesome stuff being released, I have steamed through a lot more crowns than anticipated.

I know I am not only speaking for myself when I say I only ever buy crowns when they are on sale, really looking forward to the next sale, even though it is so soon with the black fridas only just having ended.

Darn, that is a good point.

Although in my opinion, how many people will buy something if there is an alternative to buy with ingame gold. I only ever spend crowns on crownstore exclusives, if I can work my butt off to do it with gold shinies I will, I am stubborn like that, haha.

No worries if you have to wait a while, this is ZOS. That Elk mount will be reskinned and resold on the Crown Store all year long

Not really. Since the focus is now on the clown crates, or gouging on holiday themed motifs, I've no intention of buying more crowns until I've seen how they plan to handle housing.

Why? There's nothing to buy in the crown store as of right now.



Unless if you like to gamble and gamble away all your crowns so that you could participate in the crates. There's no guarantee that you will get that juicy mount that ZoS is waving around us like a slap of meat.
