Okay, my first and favorite character is my nightblade. I picked nightblade solely because it sounded like this was truly a thief character. Not someone who just kills and dies fast. Well, I sort of stopped killing fast after reaching level 50 which meant I started dying faster. Okay, lets rework some things. Still, great CC but no heals. Or none that seem to be helping enough. I did stop dying so much but I basically was cloaking and slashing then cloaking and slashing while the other two thingys were beating up on me. No problem. Except the tough ones that had the little orange or pink or whatever color and each side of their health bar were really tough for me. Now I'm not that great of a player. I'll admit that. I play solo so no one else has to worry about my skill level. I 'group' with dolmans, world bosses and public dungeons. They can be crappy and I can be crappy but together we all get the job done. That's pretty cool to me because I HATE games that force one people (or two) to tank and one to heal while the rest unload their magicka and stamina on the critter. Its really cool to me that a bunch of DPS can get together and complete an objective. A tank would be nice. A healer would be helpful. But they don't mean we can't do it together. Yeah, its just a bunch of people wacking at something until its dead but come on, those world bosses should have long been dealt with before I started playing. They seem to keep coming back so whatever. Any ways, back to my issue.
Like I said, I needed heals. Just wasn't getting enough. Well, not only am I a bad reader, I apparently skip things. And to be fair, those tooltips don't really say everything they should. I found online that I did have more heals than hoping this dagger strike kills this add so I live through this. But, they use magicka and I sort of don't really have that much. So, another trip to the temple and go through every ability. Check online to see exactly what it is and a what it does. I now use magicka completely except for my daggers. I did a bit more searches since I've maxed out Clothing and can now make those sets I've been researching traits for. And what I found out is, I have to look like this....
I hope you see that. So basically, to use my new improved master of darkness. Flash of steel in the night. Shadow master. Assassin. I have to wear a dress and carry a stick. Why? Is it just my unable to find it ability where you can get medium armor that buffs up you magicka use. Even adding it though I'd like the power or crit increase more. I've searched if there was a crafted set. I haven't seen any type of set drop yet that fits what I'm looking for. Surely, this can't be the case and I'm just uninformed to know where to look. But it seems like all discussion on this topic says that to get the most benefit, put your dress on and get your stick. Now nothing bad about the dress. I've got a male sorcerer who loves his. But a medium armor should have a class that matches not half of one. I choose this path and I'm wearing it. The other, I'm completely supposed to look like I use a pet sometimes. I have a templar I was planning to keep in heavy. Does this mean there's no heavy armor that caters to that?
Now if its no big deal and I should just find a suit I like and go about my business, that's fine. If I can still manage, great. i won't worry about it. Its sort of hard to tell at times since so many discussions are talking about one specific play style so you have absolute must do's in order to play. I'm just unsure on this. I still haven't spent any of my attribute points nor champion wondering that maybe I should just eat soul gems and go back to how I was. Without a reliable heal. I've just been playing for two months. And by playing I mean playing. I haven't gotten much done. I really got to this level during Halloween when you got a costume that doubled your xp and dolmans happened on a pretty regular basis. Got useful gear and money. Then the pumpkin failure that had to wait on a patch to fix so I ended up farming the heck out of those for the achievement. At any rate, I have only completed two areas of my alliance's lands and have started the third but I'm already pass 160 in champion points. So, I think I really need to find what works and stick to it. I just don't want to wear a dress...
