Is it still true that summoned creatures despawn when you switch to a bar that doesn't have the summon ability on it?

Also, if you use Daedric Minefield on a bar without magelight, then switch to a bar with magelight, the mines now get the increased damage from the max magicka and the increased crit chance when the trigger, right? Or do they scale off the stats of your char when the skill had been used?

As far as I know, yep if pet is not on the bar it desummons, and yep stats from current bar count

Yes, summoned Daedra are toggle abilities, and must be present on all 2 or 3 bars to stay active.

Yes, Mines calculate their damage from your current stats when they are triggered, you are free to swap bars (or proc effects) in order to boost their damage after placing them.

Alright, thanks. One more thing, though this isn't really 100% connected to the title... Does the dwemer automaton from Engine Guardian or the Shadowy Clannfear from Shadowrend proc the Necropotence set? If so, I could save myself 2 skill slots... Thanks for the answers

Yes, they do. You have very little control over their appearance, though, so it's not an ideal solution.

About what I said earlier, does that apply to liquid lightning as well? Mid effect, switch bars and dps changes?

For liquid lightning, yes. For many skills, yes. I can't say "for everything" with certainty, because I don't run stamina specs often at all, and haven't checked many skills personally.

Gotta triple bar em. With aegis and inner light taking up slots, pets leave you with not a lot to work with and I found didn't aid me much.

Except the clanfear that took me through vma my first time lol. Pointless otherwise. Except it's kinda cute

My bow/bow stamsorc is CP85 but made such newb discovery yesterday. The control pets button seemed like it did nothing so I ignored it. Only yesterday did I read somewhere how to use it by holding it down while pressing attack. Sure enough, Spike the beautiful clannfear charged into battle. The beauty is that he drew initial aggro - like a real tank instead of trying to (with mixed results) pull aggro off my elf after her opening attack. Very cool but embarrassing to just learn this. Lol.
