It is my opinion that getting an automatic bounty whether a witness is present or not takes away my freedom to choose my victim without consequence. We get passives like "Savage Feeding", but what about the player that prefers to quietly draw blood, and then discard of the body in a discreet manner? We have Dark Brotherhood kills that allow a variety of fancy animations, some include touching the target, and yet vampires can't get the ability to do something like cover their victims mouth while feeding? We're not actually Blood Fiends ... at least not in the way the game portrays them.
How about a frontal feeding, that requires the player to first compel the humanoid target to remain quiet, while we slowly grab their head and feed on them, but leave them alive and don't automatically trigger a fight for all to see? Make these passives only accessible at stage 4 if you want - I prefer that not be that case, but it's better than nothing.
Passives that need to be added or altered:
1) Savage Feeding If this passive is going to unavoidably draw attention and get us a bounty, it should at least kill the npc target. And like it is now, it should remain uninterruptible.
2) Passive Prey allows for a frontal up close feeding that keeps the target quiet and docile, but it can only work on one target at a time, and it can be interrupted by a witness if not careful, unlike savage feed.
3) Mesmerize Activated by holding whatever button corresponds with the block L2 for PS4 and Xbox, and pressing the corresponding triangle button. This passive will up to 3 or 4 meters allows the vampire player to compel a humanoid target to not attack them and instead (after ranking it up to level 2) attack another local target. If there is no one else around they will just stand there for 8 seconds. And it can only be used once on that same target.
It's not really Elder Scrolls if I don't get the freedom to equally choose without a predetermined outcome, because then that's just a bias perspective being embedded in to the game. Innocence should be available to target without backlash as long as the player is skilled enough to pull it off, just like assassin kills with the Blade of Woe. This fire-hose feeding animation we currently have is okay as an alpha and beta animation, but by now it should be a lot more impressive. It's immersion-breaking and sloppy for a player role-playing a character attempting to blend in to society, to literally be forced to suck at something that should innate, just because the victim isn't a bad guy. Please give us neck bites.
