Inventory upgrade not added after buying it for ingame money

Good day,
I have a slight issue with inventory upgrade ingame - before I attempted to upgrade in (in Skywatwch at Melae) I had 111 inventory slots (I think I bought 40 2 years ago (not 100% sure) when I started playing and another 11 had from horse training). When I saw I can upgrade extra 10 slots for 11 000 gold I was happy to get more space for all the junk to get and sell/use. However after I paid 11k I was still at 111 slots - could someone possibly tell me what happened (why did I lose 11k) and how to fix it?
