impale magicka morph is their a problem with these skill.

i just slotted it back in last week to test it out again these week, see the play style,
im not sure if its just me but i notice many time that i had a person in execute range and i slam the impale button and the skill would not activate actually the skill was shaded gray as i was not able to use it. it was weird look like i had no magicka pool left but that was not the case i was still being able to use other skills and had about half left,
also maybe i was thinking it was something to do with hills the terrain that could affect it not sure. i have to try it again

has anyone else had any problem with the skill

We're you out of range? The magicka morph increases the range but it's still relatively small

impale is a midrange skill.

i was thinking it could be that but i know for sure i had about 2-3 time were it happens to me right after i just soul harvest them and had the person was in range so i should have been in range
ill have to keep the skill slotted for some more time and see if thats the case.

Mages Wrath is by far the easiest execute to use.

It sticks to your opponent, isn't dodgable, can proc implosion (extra damage), long range and low cost.

If you have issues executing people with Mages Wrath then you really need to L2P.

Yea but impale has a 0% chance to execute anyone lol. Where as sorcs just can't execute templars cause let's be honest no one really runs purge. Impale can also be reflected which is dumb it's not even a projectile. But honestly both these execute suck compared to Jesus beam, poison injection, reverse slice, out steel tornado

Fury's explosion proc allows you to cast it on somebody before you hit them with your burst (Frags, Overload, etc.) to set up a combo. By the time you get somebody to 25% and hit Impale, they've most likely shielded/healed/dodged and are likely already out of execute range. I'd definitely trade Impale's 25% execute threshold for Fury's 20% execute threshold and explosion proc.

Yes, Impale counts as a projectile (you can see the spectral dagger flying through the air) so it can be reflected.
