As for maelstrom, I have no idea what it is and judging but what you guys have to say, I'll prolly never step into it or even try it.

    dragonstar, not for the mechanics but because of the length of the thing!

    and btw maelstom is a solo trial, you need to own orsinium DLC to access it,
    normal can be fun, you dont need a specific build/playstyle, just the determination to succeed vetran is EVIL and anyone who says different is a masochist imho LOL

    I hate crypt of hearts due to it being so laggy

    all dungeon content added since IC has been ***.

    ICP, WGT.. even now nerfed to the ground(and btw hate how they were nerfed, with a blanket 'softening' of mobs rather than tweaking the mechanics slightly) are absolutely unfun and boring, and with overly stupid mechanics for some fights that just make them frustrating (IE: mechanics that seem to be added solely to 'REMOVE' the fun aspect rather than add challenge - like a dev somewhere actually looked at it and said to himself: 'What we need is something that people will not enjoy, so they won't run this anymore!')

    With the 2 new SOH dungeons, its just more of the same. Expanded, concentrated, and much more convoluted, but still, just more of the same.

    Like VMA NONE of these dungeons are enjoyable (by me, or most of the people I know ingame) and I am pretty damned sure that any person who claims to 'love the content' prob don't' run it beyond getting that key every 4 days.

    This catering to those who have the patience, or what it takes to suffer though mind numbing, boring yet still 'hard' content is prob what they really want.. people willing to leap though ANY hoop if the box at the end even has a tiniest chance at 'character improvement'

    Rest of us can *** off.. i mean they already got us to buy this junk, so once we spend our cash, we can GTFO.

    ruins of mazzatun with pugs, need to stay 3 hours to do hardmode for two keys, very importent and much die because no taunt blame the DD stoneshaper aggro

    Mazzatun hardmode is stupid. Spindle 1. That boss doesn't take aggro and just lashes out with 1 shots way too often.

    All veteran dungeons that don't have a scroll to read but requires people do to something strange (or to not do something), such as keeping wraiths alive or not entering the protective sphere.

    On my DDs I hate: Spindle 1 (One shot boss), BC 1 & 2 (Craptastic Rewards) and Tempest Island (Length).
    On my Tank I hate: CoH 2 & CoS (hate to tank those with a Sap Tank)

    And all around I hate: Spindle 1, Fungal 2, Selene, CoH 2 and CoS due to me having arachnophobia :s

    CoS, RoM and ICP for the amount of time they take and the fact that hardly anyone in guild seems to run pledges anymore, let alone DLC dungeons, so PUGing those isn't a good idea. My FPS also drops to like 10 or less during the area with the ground traps in ICP, plus the bug with the Flesh Abomination boss where 2+ Hoarvers aren't able to be aggro'd or attacked.

    WGT isn't too bad, still a bit of a chore and there's always that one person who, for some reason, sucks at portals.

    ICP, solely because it has way too many trash packs. It's my least favorite dungeon.

    WGT is my favorite, as it contains similarly interesting boss fights, but less timewasting trash.

    I hate all dungeons with spiders. Fungal II, Spindle I, CoS, etc.
    No, i don't have arachnophobia. I just think spiders are the most boring and lazy-designed creatures in all modern culture.
    Not scary, not fun, not interesting in any aspect. When I see a spider, I want to sleep.

    First time I set foot in Spindleclutch on normal back then at lvl 16, I legit ran through that dungeon with my eyes closed :(

    ICP and RoM for me, way too long.

    I skip them when they are pledges.

    I actually like WGT but if I need to pug it, 90% of the time atleast someone in group doesnt know planar mechanics and leaves portals up.

    I haven't tried vICP for several months. 7 hour run that still ended in failure. We even had the final boss down to 5% health and died lol. I think after 2 hours on the boss we all just started to get wore out...nvm 5+ hours on the boss lol

    So yeah, Vet DLC dungeons are not runs I enjoy. I'll tank them sometimes if a buddy needs a tank but it has to be with a solid group.

    As for the other dungeons, they're ok.

    Vet Darkshade would be one I find boring as there isn't much you can do against the final boss as a tank. Tank the adds and stay in the healers bubble is really all you do with occasional hits on the boss if you have a ranged weapon.

    ...harder time remember which one is my favorite lol.

    ICP is my most hated dungeon, specially with pugs. it is the longest dungeon and needs a very orgainzed group.

    Vma's great though. If you take the time to learn it and git gud for lack of a better phrase it's a frantic, fast paced test of everything you've learned

    I don't like the new direction ZOS is going with dungeons.

    Vaults of madness is an example of a well made dungeon for me. Really nice pacing, interesting setting, and tons of mini-bosses to kill resulting in lots of loot. You don't have to really worry where to go, you just admire the amazing scenery while you kill things.

    CoS and RoM in the "Shadows of what the game used to be" DLC are giant environments with TONS of really tough worthless trash pulls, stupid puzzles and only FOUR bosses that are very stingy with loot.


    This seems to be ZOS's new MO with dungeons
    1. Increase run time as much as possible
    2. Reduce bosses to only 4
    3. Pad the dungeon with tons of filler consisting of really huge trash pulls with boss like health, high damage and a few mechanics
    4. Make only 1 of the three (med, heavy, light) dropped sets really desirable in each dungeon so players have to run 1 for the heavy, 1 for the medium, and one for the light.
    5. Include as many puzzles, traps, silly mechanics, doors to open, as possible.


    Edit: Vaults of Madness has 8 bosses. EIGHT. Twice as many as the new dungeons.

    The problem is Mezeluth usually, not final boss. I'm soooo happy I have gotten Deadly Crypt Survivor before One Tamriel.

    How do ppl die there? Just stand at four opposites of circle and you all roll away from each other naturally.....or just 2 of you fight and the other 2 stand by the door out of way not doing anything...takes longer though

    I hate fungal grotto 2. That spider daedra with her laser beams, her aoe and random knockback. I hate tanking it, I hate healing it and I prefer to go into the cave if dpsing it. It is the most annoying fight. It seems like they lessened her damage on the aoe since 1T but I still hate that fight from previous bad memories.
