Honestly 50 solo runs is already a lot and I can't imagine hundreds on average to get a complete set...

I don't know how ya'll with like 500 runs do it lolll

They have it down to the point that 70 minutes is enough for two runs.

I'm with you. Once I get a dagger that is either precise, sharpened, or defending to go with my defending axe and precise bow I am done for a long time.

I can do runs in under an hour... score 500k+... after 50+ drops from this event... i still have not seen a lightning staff... obviously i want sharpened but i can't even find the staff in general...

i'm with you.. its getting old... boring... tiresome... annoying... pick one or all of those reasons.

its still honestly unbelievable to me that this is "working as intended" to zos... I understand this is an MMO and grinding certain things is part of the game.. but this crosses WAY over the line of reasonable grind.

ps... i've found a sharpened dagger, precise dagger, and 3 or more sharpened bows... i geared a stam character to full (when i didn't care to do so) before i found one lightning staff for my sorc's heavy attack build...

dido for me for a sharpened staff, about ready to quit the game completely. not even an opportunity to trade with other stormproff players is BS as well.

welp i have a nirnhoned vma bow, precise axe and dagger, sharpened lighting staff. After the event is done I will be done with VMA.

I tried it today (normal). I got to the last part fairly easy but didn't try that. It wasn't fun so I don't think I would do it very often for that reason alone.

When I first completed vMA it felt like a huge achievement. Now, after close to 50 runs, it just feels like something too stressful. I mean, I can do 500k+ and got close to get Flawless more than once, but it's still a 50-70 min solo content where your skill is not rewarded, ever. Your luck is.
A guildmate of mine completes each run in about 3 hours and he got 2 precise daggers, 1 sharp bow and 1 inferno precise in less than 15 runs. And that's including some pre-event runs.

So to hell one's skill. It's not fun when out of 100 drops you had only 2 nice (not BiS, mind you) items.

Count me in the lot who has done 50+ runs during the event and only have one of the 5 items I want. I have sharpened axe and still need sharpened dagger, bow, lightning and fire. I don't even think I've seen a single fire destruction staff at all.

Lol I got double inferno back to back during event. Only problem is both times they were defending and decisive. Now what are the odds of that? Same exact drop 2 runs in a row with same exact traits.

Meanwhile I get plenty of sharpened stam weapons and sharpened s&b weapons.

I have around 50 completions. Sharpened weapons im still missing is battle axe, maul and daggers. I have all the staves in sharpened but im a stam build lol.

That seems to be how or works as I can't seem to get a sharpened inferno but have duplicates of almost all stam weapons in sharpened.

The loot RNG in there is horrible. I've been tracking my drops since I started clearing and I'm at 36 weapons... only 2 of which are sharpened. I'm trying to get as many runs in while the event is active in an attempt to get at least one of my one handed weapons sharpened. I'm not sure if I'll have any motivation to run it later. The grind is intense.

Precise: 5
Infused: 3
Defending: 2
Sharpened: 2
Decisive: 7
Nirnhoned: 6

At my current rate of about 1 hour per clear, that's 18 hours of grind per sharpened weapon. That's just downright depressing.

Every time I go in there, it just takes a dump on my soul.

50ish minutes to loot a powered bow/decisive resto staff/sharp s&b makes me cry.

80% of who do over 100 runs for a weapon may belong to one or more of these categories:
1) no job
2) no boyfriend/girlfriend - if any, they're missing out and feeling sorry for us and themselves
3) live in elder scrolls online physically and emotionally
4) eat while waiting for group finder/ pledge to start
5) play ESO for living (e.g. streamers)
6) enjoy repetitive content and routine ( i think this is the worst category )
7) have nothing better to do in ESO or IRL

Clearly a L2P issue, as your name suggests. Or maybe, L2OptimizeYourInGameTime. One doesn't have to fit in any of the categories you listed in order to reach 100+ vMA runs. Personally, I do not fit in any of them. Not a single one. Still, I'm willing to get 100+ runs done for a BiS weapon, so I can be competitive in trials, vDSA and other Leaderboard-related content. It doesn't mean I run vMA all day long, but once or twice a day, not including weekends.

Sad that we have to get stuck in a solo arena of a mmo game with so much to enjoy/do/explore, my guess is that ZOS staff is asian style. Wait, is this guild wars's 2 legendary weapon making?
