Can u pay eso plus with a psn gift card of does it have to b tied to a credit card?

Title says it all, I wanna pay for someone's 6 month eso plus membership for there Christmas present but dont wanna tie it to my personal credit card. Can I buy this person like one of those pre paid psn $100 gift cards n they use that for there membership payment once its activated n in there psn wallet? Or it has to b a reoccurring charge tied to a credit card? Any input would b helpful n ty.

I done it on my debit card..but as far as im aware you can cancel it anytime..so do it for 6 months or however long you wanna do it for and then simply cancel it...obviously tell whoever your doing for that your gonna cancel it after so long.

I haven't used the 6-month nor have I used a PSN pre-paid card. However, this page says its a 1 time deal for 3-month / 6-month.

I do have ESO+ renew monthly from my card.

Perfect! It says for Playstation options of 3 n 6 months it does not auto new unlike pc n xb1 they automatically renew. I appreciate it so if I do end up using my credit card it wont charge me again in the future. Thx again!
