So quick question that I could probably google for... when the behemoth shouts is there always a bubble near a mage? If you kill one of the mages is it possible to miss out on the bubble?

I fully intend to keep trying... if nothing else it's a fast way to burn through the day's enlightenment.

@dem0n1k the mages always cast the bubble around themselves. I always kill one of the mages as soon as they spawn then run to the other mage in preparation for the shout.

Until then, I'm perfectly fine being frustrated over the fact that I can't bake a cake to save my life.

I got most of the way through normal and felt pretty confident about it so I dove into vet. And died pretty much immediately. I was like...what.in.the. I can't tell you the rest of what I was like or they will delete it lol. Then I said good day sir to vMA and have not returned. Maybe someday. But I do not have the time to invest in dying and hating the game instead of doing things in the game I actually find fun.

I haven't managed the Normal version yet (glad I'm not the only one though and still trying). I'm not a great player so can't imagine I'd ever get close to beating vMA!

Completed it on 5 classes. As everyone will tell u the rng is terrible. I've had 5 sharpened destro staffs, 3 sharpened bows,countless resto staffs but not 1 sharpened 1h or 2h weapon. Keep out of there!

Tried it, but see no point in doing it. Could probably finish it if I spent the time learning all the spawns and boss mechanics, but decided to do other, more fun, stuff instead.

I have never beat it but i'm very close but have been stuck at last round on my magsorc for what feels like over half my life haha xD.

It's extremely intense i honestly struggled on every single round.
I do quick normal runs everyonce in a while to feel a bit less incompetent.

It's unplayable right now for me on ps4 at least for me. Normal even becomes a challenge in round 7 when Lagsalot does his special attack.

Don't get the hate for vMSA. its a wicked challenge.

Hones your build for PvE, especially self healing, I think it hones your skills for PvP too, the intensity, warding, rotations, accuracy.

I have not completed it, been on last boss for two weeks 100's of deaths but every session I'm getting closer. Thus I feel the challenge is just right.

It feels Impossible, then you realised you are doing it wrong, and boom straight thru.

Will I try for flawless, heck no, madness (and maddening I imagine) but I'm buzzing ti get it done once.

Went into Vet once by mistake and died to very first monster hahaha. I will never be good enough to complete that arena or any Vet Trials, so im stuck with boring questing

I don't get the love for it,I've done it and got stormproof,it's not like it changes after you've run it. Aside from the potential wep drop it's a waste of time after that. As for pvp, I personally got better by playing pvp not a solo dungeon.

I tried it on two characters - magsorc and stamblade. Stamlade couldn't get past 3rd arena. Magsorc spend, to count all hours, whole day at that awful place if not more, dying hundreds of times, and max I achieved is getting on platform and starting to damage warding crystals for last boss So sad, but that's where I finally gave up; lost lot of soul gems, potions, food - for nothing but frustration and sadness. RNG threats make this all artificially much harder than it should be - I was killed by environment most of times... Each time I completed a stage, I didn't feel proud or strong - I only felt a huge relief and couldn't believe another part of this nightmare is over I'll try it again someday on other characters, but not much hope - it's not rewarding experience.

My advice for anyone here: only go do vmsa if you enjoy very hard content, do not do it just for the weapons or you will go absolutely insane. I only do 1 or 2 vmsa runs a week because it stays fun for me that way. I used to farm it over and over, but it drove me absolutely crazy and it felt like a chore. Always remember that gaming is supposed to be fun, not frustrating!

The lag in VMA is insane, skills don't work, health desync, animation desync, totally unplayable.

All CS asks is to wait for a fix in the near future

I refuse spending my precious time in a game with something that I don't enjoy even a bit. Worse, I can't really see anyone who does. People are treating it as the necessary evil to get their weapons. To me that's just wrong. The group this contest caters for is minuscule yet all expected to have their weapons - in the only feasible trait.

Normal on the other hand is easy af & rewardless. Bad design overall.

If you go in for the weapons just don´t do it. I did not do vma until the wrothgar birthday because double loot (well actually back when it was new I was kicked out on last stage with no save feature, so i stopped entirely back then.

The doubled loot is just the doubled chance of getting crap. I ran near to 50 times now, still no sharpened inferno. So I suggest do it for fun, a single time for the achievement - but don´t go in there with the expectation of looting something worthwhile, not worth the disappointment. ZOS really has to change sth. about their rng.

50 runs vma - no sharp inferno (1 nirn, 1 charged, 1 powered)
1500 world bosses killed - no sharp mother sorrow sword (3 precise)
