✭✭✭✭✭This is perfect. I love this suggestion. I could use the little pouch of the Breton style for every crafted light armor belt!Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.

They did the same thing with the wings on Trinimac light armor, only that with belts it would make sense. I hate the floating clipflaps and being able to make them disappear by crafting a minor part of the armor in a different style would be just sweet. Thus OP has my support! -

If you wear all of one style. If you mix n' match like I do this would create some more interesting layering. Currently it's a tad upsetting to me that to wear a heavy chest piece I like, I have to accept these fat triangular things resting on my thighs. Belts are very low impact on appearance as-is, so this might balance the value of belt motifs a bit too.

Iove✭✭✭✭This is a good compromise for me as opposed to just deleting all the flaps and hip panels altogether because I hate them, as long as some belt styles exist without any flaps at all I would be happy and finally able to wear my armour and not be permanently in a flapless outfit as I currently am... Deep sigh. -

✭Funnily enough, I think they shluld be part of either grieves or the waist. My RL tassets are stand alone with the groin gaurd, held on by a belt and suspenders and in no way associated with chest armour -
Karius_Imalthar✭✭✭✭✭I always mix my armor styles to get a more unique look. The hip flaps often clip into other parts of armor if they aren't the same motif. I often have to make the dyes match so it's not as noticeable. -

✭✭✭✭✭This would be an acceptable fix, and I could finally wear the Khajiit Chests MUCH more happily without those thigh guards cluttering up the look I'm trying to achieve. Even the Khajiit Jerkin, which is supposed to be LIGHT, has the largest guards of the three. It's the only reason my Khajiit Magplar is ugly still.
