Stam NB

So I have finally got myself a stam NB.

Haven't really paid much attention to gear sets so can someone help me please

What would be viable for end game Pve and PvP haven't really decided which way I will take this character yet

TBS, Viper and Selene are very accessible and don't require much time grinding and you easily hit more than 30kdps with it.

But if you want the BIS go for TBS, VO and Maelstrom weapons. But VO and Maelstrom requires more than 100hours of farming in order to get them.

I have full VO gear and Maelstrom weapons

Will just need to get someone to craft me some TBS now!

PVE is easy. Some combination of Hundings/Night Mother's/Twice Born/Vicious Ophidian/Agility/Velidreth/Skoria/Kragh/Spriggan/Briarheart/ect with either Thief or Shadow mundus depending on your Crit%.

PVP you can go Heavy armor centered around cost reducion and procs, or Medium armor centered around recovery and procs. A heavy setup would give you tankiness and staying power with procs for burst damage, while medium would grant you superior mobility and evasion also with procs for further burst.

PvP is all about play style. If you want to use what's the most powerful go with 5 viper, 5 widow maker or black rose, and do 2 piece tremor scale and use sword and board. The same as every other stamina character. Noticing a theme yet?

I think you may not like stamina builds

I just want to try something a little different, I think most people in the game know the 'meta builds'

Anyone have any builds that are decent but move away from these few sets that everyone is using ?

Every one of the sets I mentioned needs to be removed from the game. Having your armor do the fighting for you is was one of the most asinine additions/decisions ever made.

I am stamina. I hate the lack of balance, and build diversity in this game. I also hate that ZOS has taken all skill away from PvP. If you wanna win a duel without being remotely talented, use proc sets. If you're magicka, use Eye of the Storm.

I want something decent but goes against the norm 'meta builds' I have other characters built for end game and spent lots of time doing it, now I want to try something different

Make plain vanilla armor with your desired traits. None of the cool kids are doing that.

I'm running 5 Black Rose, 3 Agility, 2 Engine Guardian, and Maelstrom weaps on my sub-optimal race Stamblade. It's Black Rose, so call it meta if you will, but it's my counter to the far more cancerous proc meta. I'm tanky enough to survive the proc burst from 1 or 2 proc builds and have sustain coming out of my butt.
