Since the free weekend is coming soon, I'll have some of my friends get into the game. What do you guys think we should do to enjoy the most out of eso during this period?

I disagree. While I don't think we should actively discourage people from buying ESO, I do believe it's only fair to inform them about both good and bad sides of the game - and frequent long unplanned maintenances are something I'd like to know about if I was jumping into a new MMO.Valen_Byte wrote: »Just try not to let them come in contact with people like pibbles there.

Agree, however, overexagerating something like the hot fix down time is not apropriate. Servers were not down 50% of the weekend. It was a few hours in th e early morning.

Let me guess: you're NA PC? Add 6 hours to your "early morning" for Europe and it turns out you lose most of the Saturday - or all of it if you planned another activity in the evening. Xbox was out for over 12 hours (only partially ZOS's fault, but still). We also had multiple unplanned maintenances in August and September, including two times I couldn't play for 3 days straight. There's no reason to downplay the problem.Valen_Byte wrote: »I disagree. I would prefer a stable, predictable service.Valen_Byte wrote: »Let me guess: you're NA PC? Well, I guess its all how you look at it. Would you prefer no patches or fixes?
Yes, make sure they stay away from group finder so they will not be abused and told to L2P.Get them to lvl 10 fast so they can start doing random runs where people can kick and insult them. That's the most state-of-the-art ESO experience you can get in a weekend.
