Shield bash damage formula?

I'm up to Champion 30 and I'm still confused about this. Is there a *base* damage for a shield bash attack? Does it have a critical chance? Does it do more damage if it interrupts an attack, and what is the formula? I've seen wildly different damage amounts from my bashes. I haven't been able to find any clarification online.

Reorx_Holybeard✭✭✭✭✭So looking at our raw data of skills we've collected I've found an entry for Bash.- Bash an enemy with your weapons, causing $1 Physical Damage and interrupting any spells the target is casting. Deals 150% additional damage if you successfully interrupt a spell.
- $1 = -2.1e-06 * Stamina + 0.500234 * WeaponDamage - 0.369196 (R2 = 0.999999)
So, assuming that this is the actual bash used for players in-game then your Bash damage is going to be half of your WeaponDamage probably modified by the usual CP and passives. On a successful interrupt the damage is multiplied by 2.5.
