If I buy 1 month of plus can I cancel it but keep the days?

So I've finally gotten my card and I was wondering if I could buy one month of eso+, cancel it so that it doesn't bill me again automatically and keep the remaining 30 days? To be honest I just want the crowns so that I can get the dlc, but buying 1500 crowns separately costs the same amount as one month. So is it possible or should I just buy the crowns instead?

Yes you can subscribe and then unsubscribe immediately without loosing anything. Once you have paid you can see how many days you have left by looking at your account.

Unsubscribing (even straight away) will not reduce the number of days you have paid for. Crowns are added straight away.

A lot of people do this to test dlc or access costume dyes.

    That's what I did.

I was planning to buy dye stamps to dye my costumes until I found out you don't get to pick the colours, or even which colour applies to which areas. So instead I bought 1 month of ESO plus, dyed all my costumes, moved my materials to the crafting bag and spent some time checking out the DLC.

I cancelled it about 20 minutes after I bought it (I just waited long enough to log in and check it had worked) and I still got the full 30 days.
