Shouldn't harder PvE content be smarter Ai's, than just more health and armor?!

A few things to make them better and harder is. Have the enemies walk out of our attacks, such as volley, role dodge, have different classes work together to kill us. ex. tank cc us, assassin dealing massive damage(hard to catch), while healer buffing them. Just feel like everyone is just building enough damage and then just faceroll on all the enemies.

Just let me know what you think, :D

More health and armor is whats killing the dungeon community right now. The people who run dungeons wanna have a few beers and some fun. Not deal with this idiocy.

Keep this new, good AI (and it is a good suggestion) To raids, where it will be appreciated. As such? I see people running dungeons less than I have ever seen it, and the people I see doing so are new players.

I personally have always felt that harder is a....we aren't going to remake anything new so it's a mix of health and resistances. Usually the redesigns are stuff already in production but gosh....

I don't actually ever want harder stuff as in health and resistances. It's dumb and corners the games into a place where ppl start getting excluded from content and groups.

I've always held the opinion that the older closed beta around Sept-Oct 2013 was a perfect balance of hard/easy.

Now add in CP and you have a perfect storm cause there was enough that couldn't be done without leveling up or more ppl that made the games content all worth playing. In this One Tamriel it's even more fitting.

Basically to explain, you could actually die fighting solo quest trash if you were not moving and adjusting. It was basically Skyrim or Oblivion logic.

That's where this should be. Not a dps meter and gear check but a do you know how to play your character situation. Moreso in groups cause in those days you were forced to be mindful in your creation and were not forced to put all your points in one stat or wear all one type of armor or these 5/2 or 5/1/2 stuff with only certain traits and sets.

That's what I notice all the time. In PvP enemy players are dodging, healing, and purging status effects all the time. AI enemies just come at you with their weapon, cycling through their light, heavy, and special ability rotation until their health is gone. Only certain enemies like cuthroats, assassins and what not even bother to dodge, and even then they're not very good at it.

The only reason you lose to a PvE enemy is you forget to eat food beforehand, or they land too many hits on you and you forget to heal in time.

Its not just more health and armour though....its health regen too.
Those trolls at the nircrux mines are a case in point.
If your DPS sucks you can wail on those babies all day long and not make a dent.

There are some triplet world bosses that mix things up to be fair.
    Like the ones in greenshade.

Smart ai doesn't exist, you are talking about scripts.

Just do a check for the incoming skill. If it's close range, roll away from it. If it's an AOE, bash. If there is a healer, go straight for them.

As it stands, the bosses have the exact same design as Everquest.
