Anyone else do an insane amount of farming this week? I literally have not done anything but farm materials in Wrothgar. The lure of easy gold tempers is too great and the RNGesus gifted me 6 Tempering Alloys tonight. I even got 2 Kuta from the same node which I didn't even think was possible.
Thank you ZOS for this wonderful event but I'm afraid I'll wake up tomorrow as a farming bot.

No offense,but that sounds really ,really boring
I tried maelstrom thingy for the first time,did some thieves guild missions,took some contracts..and just rode around findig random missions.....was a good week

✭✭✭I been farming for weeks now for no reason so this event was just a huge plus I'm getting about 500 ores in 2 hours plus in one week of refining I'm at 30temps, 34wax, 27rosins, 20kuta and more flowers then I know was to do with. All from just this event!
I plan to keep farming until update 13 pvp is lame right now and dungeons are no fun after u got everything from them.

✭✭✭Whatever floats your boat man. I just PvP and do dungeons for fun. No farming for me (and no gold tempers then either). I just don't find farming fun. And I play to have fun. If it feels like work I better logout and remote login to my job so I actually get paid for working.٩(͡๏̯͡๏)۶

✭✭I do the farming because I have fairly profound anxiety and it's one of the few things that soothes it. I like normal dungeons and questing, but vet dungeons and pvp are pretty much a health risk to me at this point. Besides dropped sets are a huge bugbear for me, the whole scruffy grab bag look really annoys me, at least with crafted I can look the way I like

Just be glad you get too farm. I'm stuck working without a day off the next three weeks working 10 hour days. Just got off work and have too be back in 6 hours. Just enough time too check guild sales and do my crafting writs lol.0 -

Same issue here. I won't group at all anymore. Used to before One Tam when I could be sure I would actually be helping someone (lower level than myself), but now... nope, too stressful.

I was talking to this farmer at the bar last night while he was drowning himself in a bottle whiskey after a long week. I said, "You think you've got problems? We have double drops from vMA right now, and the loot table is still polluted with useless traits".6 -

Haha. Nah, just kidding. While a bit tedious I look at it like an investment. Usually I PVP a lot so I burn through things like immovable pots. I've already collected enough reagents to last me a good 3 months. That's easily 200k gold I'm saving right there. Add in the gold tempers and, yeah, while I don't have to do it, I certainly feel like I should.
It's also quite non-competitive which is a nice change of pace once in a while. Now that I've had a full night's sleep and no longer feel node crosseyed I'm looking forward to doing it again today.1 -

I have an addon that autocrafts so it takes me like 3 minutes to craft and turn in. I already have so much base materials that I haven't even bothered to pick up my surveys for 2 weeks, and started selling some on the guild stores to free up inventory, because the writs don't burn trough them fast enough. Literally none of this applies to console. While there has been a minor dip in reagent costs, 20k tempering alloys are still quite prevalent. I'm also mostly a one character guy. For what it's worth I've more than doubled my characters gold supply and gold material supply in the last 3 days.0 -

Why people cannot do them yet moan about not having gold or gold mats is beyond me lol.
I make way over 100+k per week gold and a healthy amount of gold mats plus other mats per week.
Just from doing writs on a few chars per day, with lazy writ crafter making it so much better.
Writs are worth doing people:POnce I was a lamb, playing in a green field. Then the wolves came. Now I am an eagle and I fly in a different universe.

✭✭✭I had 4 Wrothgar surveys to complete and instead of using wayshrines like usual, I ran between the spots harvesting as I went.
