Golden vendor and overland sets

Have we seen any of the new overland sets jewelry on the vendor? It would be nice for them to add these to the rotation as we can only get purple versions at the moment. Unless someone knows something I don't.

Hopefully they won't put all of the jewelry sets through the golden vendor. There are some that are just terrible and gold jewelry will not make them better or more desired.

Agree, but I think it's wishful thinking. Recall that all of the Monster Helms are in Adhazabi Aba-daro the Golden's loot tables (as far as we've seen so far ... including Velidreth and Swarm Mother).

But before 1T it was not an overland set, and before 1T they did not have jewels at the vendor.

And that is per Ring, for all 3, 750,000 for a full Jewelry Set

This. The difference between Epic and Legendary is really small when you can upgrade the other two pieces.

Depends on how much eaking out every little last bit of an edge on it. I have my own opinions on it but there's merit on both sides of the argument. But hell if you have the resources, who cares?

500k is AP cost. Gold cost is 250k each. Still stupidly high, but at least not 1.5mln

Still, gold for stat, this has to be the worst bargain in the game. Given that the difference you eek out may only be noticeable on combat logger. Its not going to make you more deadly or take down mobs any quicker for leaderboard times.

I would buy some of the new overland sets, when they get to them. I think a lot of people will buy some and flip them at a later date, since who knows how long it'll be till they're back up, and if we will ever be able to craft jewelry or upgrade jewelry.

Viper rings are not trial gear (anymore).
And...it seems the thoroughly believable 'random' RNG is working as designed with viper rings available 2/3 weeks since OT.

We know not just helmets for sure since shoulders were just on there. Also red mountain is not trial gear and neither is viper now.

Senche (old Skirmisher set) was in there as well. So seems to be both overland and group dungeon (Viper) sets that are going into the golden vendor.

If you want the small little hovel you would get for free, then you don't need to spend any gold.

Me, I am going to have a Castle. Or 3. And a couple of Manor Houses. Maybe a small little cottage or two for vacations.

Sure, my characters may share an account, but this does not mean they want to or can live together. At least two of them can't stand the smell of each other and another one is generally antagonistic to everyone, including his reflection in the mirror.

Still a better use of the Gold than a small statistically insignificant increase in stats on a set that may not be worth using in 3 months.

Haha nice one. I'll take my boost to stats though thanks. If I ever have too much gold I'll look to upgrade my hovel.

This has been discussed before. I disagree with this sentiment but thanks for the feedback.

I wouldn't spend 750,000 gold for a jewlery set, but 1.5 million AP isn't bad for pvp players who have nothing to spend AP on.

I'm by no means a hardcore pvp player, but I have about 10 million AP saved up. I can only imagine what some of the real AP farmers have.
