best dps meter addon?

Howdy, I started using the Recount addon to track my dps and I'm not sure if I'm reading it right or not. I've run the same area, using the same skills/rotation, but get up to 10k dps difference in readings, normally it reports a higher number when I first log in and kill some skeevers, but after playing and resetting it and going back to the same area, it reports lower numbers and on some occasions spikes higher. Just wondering if there is another dps addon that is more reliable in terms of getting the same dps numbers back. Thanks for the help.

compare it to the duration of the fights.
Also if you are in a group, it depends which buffs you get.
If you have same buffs / debufs and gear, your max hit on the skills should be the same.

I personal use combat metrics and FTC.

I prefer FTC, its simple and quite light and easy to use

Combat Metrics. It does one thing and does it well.

Gives more details than FTC and one can scroll between recent fights. Up time of buffs and more.

Any dps meters will do, but the fight report from combat metrics is unparalleled

I use FTC. Combat Metrics looks like rocket science to me XD
