Help me gear my PvE stam NB (please)

I'll make this clear from the outset, I'm more after a 2nd tier loadout rather than "the best" because i do not currently have access to 9 traits, vet Maelstrom bows, daggers etc. Via my work-in-progress crafter, i currently have access to all 6 traits pieces and some 8 traits (not enough to currently justify a 5 piece set). Over the last week, I have farmed an entire set of divines Spriggans, but I'm finding it slightly lacklustre in end game PvE. I have maxed my duel wield, 2-hand and bow skills and both my medium and heavy armours. Because of my lack of PvP with this character, I'm currently favouring 2-handed over duel wield simply because of the self heal.

For example, is a 5piece hundings preferable over a 5-piece NMG set or vice versa? Because I'm currently concentrating on PvE at the moment, I'm assuming divines is a better choice than impenetrable? Jewellery - should I just acquire a 3 set agility set?

I levelled this character quickly during the double xp event and because of this, I had little time to actually take in my surroundings with what's what when it comes to a NB if that makes sense.

Seriously, i can't stress enough that I'm not interested in BiS etc as I don't have access to it and as things stand, I have little hope of acquiring the weapons everyone raves about at this moment. I'm just looking for stuff I can craft and can buy from guild shops. I'll worry about top tier vet gear when I get to grips with my character. Any help would be greatly appreciated and thank you in advance.

God some of you cannot *** read. Don't forget to wish him luck getting that set since he doesn't even HAVE the gear to get into a trial in the first place.

To OP, you can't go wrong with 5 pieces Hundings and the rest NMG. If I can beat vet maelstrom with that setup, then you can do anything that isn't some hardcore vet trial leaderboard run.

5 pc VO is pretty easy to get. As for the monster sets, perfect traits doesn't matter.

@DannyLV702 Hahaha, yeah that's about the long and short of it. I know if I was to enter a vet dungeon with this character, I'd be up and down more than a pair of knickers on a ... I'll craft the hundings and NMG pieces. I assume the agility jewellery would also suffice at the moment too? I am working up to vet content, but like you said, there's not much hope I'd survive long enough due to my current set-up. Thanks everyone.

Yes, the set up I gave you, along with agility jewelry, is very basic but will fit your needs. The gear is he easy part, knowing your rotations and what to do in a dungeon will be the actual deal breaker on whether or not you get kicked from groups or not (if you use group finder or pug). Only if you deal with aholes, though. Most people are cool and wil teach you. I recommend you watch YouTube videos unless you want to completely discover the class yourself

Aye, that's why I'm only after 2nd tier gear as I have a lot to learn with the character so the gear won't be replaced within a week. That was the major downside to levelling the class very fast, I learnt nothing of real value. whereas with my templar, it was slow and it gave me a chance to learn as i was going. Because i have 300cp, once my NB hit 50 and zoomed all the way up in an instant, it left me scampering for gear quickly as my level 40- 49 gear was obviously outdated and useless in the extreme. It's the reason I farmed over the last week or 2 as it allows me to take stock of where I'm at in the learning curve.
