Question about armor penetration

Hi all,

I do have a question about armor penetration and how it works. I am thinking about the following setup.

- StamNb/Redguard
- 5 peaces Hunding´s Rage
- 5 peaces Spriggan´s Thorn (two swords/ sharpened)
- 1 peace Kra´gh
- 1 peace Molag Kena

In total I would have these stats:

Stamina: 38k
StamReg: 1.2k
Health: 19k
Weapon Damage: 3.2k (unbuffed)
armor penetration: ~ 10k
crit: ~ 60%

Do you guys think that is a viable build for PVE/PVP? How does the armor penetration affect my damage (burst/sustain)? Is a build like this reasonable at all?

Hope you can give me some advices.

Thank you!

It is not that good, you will be forced to have proc sets or will be irritated by deaths by proc sets. Swap Hunding's for proc set such as viper, swap kena for another kra'gh or go velidreth 2pc. If you plan on being ganker, that should work just fine.

    Hi,

thanks. I do have all this sets. I know that they are now BiS. But this will change I guess. I am just curious how armor penetration works and if it is viable to max this stat.

    Thanks

If you want to max it, maybe hundings should be swaped with Night Mother's Gaze. Also, using crushing enchantment on one of DW weapons is good.
