in my opinion the ps4 pro specs are not worth the price tag. its still 30 fps with just a little bit better resolution.... meh

Go watch the videos.

The issue is for people who don't have a sick ass tv it's a waste.

But there are massive graphical changes go look at the lava now and then in the video as well as the sky environmental shifts absolutely amazing.

I'm big on the small details so it's something for me. It won't be for EVERYONE.

I have one pre-ordered from Amazon for release day. Going to be running it on a 1080p monitor for the enhanced visuals and hopefully smoother performance.

Gah. I've been considering getting it and switch over from xb1, because I am too impatient to wait for whenever Scorpio comes out. But my main gripe is that Sony doesn't have an elite controller like the one Xbox does. And for a game heavy on weapon switching, I cannot imagine how I'd fare without the back paddles of my controller (which was the only reason I bought the damn thing, to swap bars easier). I'm spoiled and I know it.
Now I'm curious, how do you guys manage weapon swap? You don't really press the left d-pad every single time, do you?

True, but that doesn't change anything. I'd still have to let go of the L-stick (and stop moving) to press the left d-pad. Or is the button mapping different for PS4?
Could never get over having to stop being mobile, even for just a second, to swap bars and then swap again. For me, it ruined the flow of combat and if anyone has any infos on how to improve that (a customisable custom controller like the Xbox elite), that'd be great. I tried to look it up myself but I didn't find anything that was... hmm. I just don't trust controllers that were dismantled, altered, and then put back together with a hefty price tag.

I don't get why get the pro wouldn't it be better off just waiting a year for the scripo when it does what they pro says it does but actually don't .Plus 2-3 times stronger.plus it gives you time to get a 4k TV.It just doesn't make sense to me.

I actually just got done selling everything "Sony" in my gaming set-up due to lack of support/stubbornness over Mods on Console for them.

Has Sony since acquiesced and allowed Mods for the PS4? Sure. But they're being extremely stingy about it. Just look at the difference in number of Mods coming to the Xbox One vs. the PS4.

Nope. PS4 is gone. There will be no PS4 2.0 (Pro). My gaming is now all on PC and Xbox.

I dont care about graphic, only about performance. I need 30+ fps always. I dont have a 4k TV , would the pro improve the fps and make sense without the 4k TV or wouldnt i really notice anything because the fps drops are caused via zwbimax Server?

Assume you're talking scuff. You can buy complete custom made controllers that are high quality from what I hear. I'm actually planning on getting one for Xmas. Another option is to remap your dpad left to the right click though that's done at the ps4 level and could mess up other games.

you keep saying enhanced mode like its some kind of official mode that ZOS said would be implemented.

All they said is that if you dont have a 4k monitor / tv you will "enjoy increased graphical fidelity". They have been VERY ambiguous and its *** ridiculous.

We have no idea of the extent to which the graphics will be improved when running 1080p. We have only a single video that honestly doesnt look like that much of an improvement as far as graphical sliders go, just that it running in 4k.

ESO on ps4 pro on a 1080p tv / monitor better run at the equivalent of ultra settings on pc locked at 30fps or it is simply a waste of money if only buying it for ESO.

This is what I don't get when people buy consoles. Why would you buy a Lets say a PS4 for like £300 but a couple years later a upgraded version comes out which costs £340. I wanna know why do people do this when the could just buy a good gaming PC for the 2 price tags combined

PS: DONT YOU DARE SAY GAMING PCS ARE TOO GODAMN EXPENSIVE Those highly expensive gaming PC you see people bragging about and the ones you see on YouTube are are the high end of the spectrum. I have a great PC which can run games on ultra setting and others stuff it cost around the same price as the ps4 and ps4 pro combined and with PC YOU HAVE MORE variety In game

I have a PS4 for the good exclusives (FF15 hype train!!).
But I play everything else on PC.
I don`t know why people who have a PS4 would even buy the PS4 pro.
Most of these people have a computer at home.
A desktop is not only cheaper in the long run (don`t forget the cheap ass games) but can do everything the console can and a lot more.
I know that it is preference....but who is satisfied with a salad if he can have the salad + a whole excellent menu for the same price?

For individuals that have the extra income, and a 4k HDR enabled television, it's a reasonable purchase.

I have a PS4 Pro pre-ordered because I play ESO 20+ hours per week. I want the highest graphical fidelity possible while remaining on a console. A test by PC Magazine emulated PS4 Pro's hardware and was able to run ESO in Native 4K resolution at a stable 39 frames per second. The purchase makes sense for me.

I have a MacBook Pro with ESO on it too. It probably looks as good as ESO on the current PS4.

I prefer consoles because i'm not good with a mouse and keyboard and so far I've been too lazy to map out a controller.

Some of the mods for PC have me drooling though (especially the one that indicates the average market value for items for sale a guild traders). That's dope.

Maybe I'll get a gaming PC one of these days, as there are some advantages, but my console makes me happy. I'm certain the PS4 Pro will as well. To each his own.

I doubt it will Xbox already announced the scripo if they didn't your would have a point it could but most Xbox players know when having something even stronger than the pro and ps4 combine coming out no point in wasting money on it.

Show me where I can find PC like this I was just in a site trying build a PC and it came up to 13-1500 bucks using all of the cheaper parts.Am generally curious I want to make the launch to PC gaming for certain games and am looking for a good PC.

Well it is suppose to be a graphic fidelity improvement. Noticeable improvements closer to PC was my understanding.

Why question someone's preference of their gaming platform? What benefit does it possibly give you?
PCs are "cool," yeah, I agree. Was on PC for the most of my gaming life, and I enjoyed it. But my needs and preferences changed and I went and ditched it for Xbox.
Why? Why do people "stubbornly" want to play on an inferior system?
For plenty of varying reasons. And no reason is less valid than the other.
Why worry about how much money we spend (400€ is nothing)? It's not coming out of your wallet.
