Vision Quest Is Not Fixed (Although the Patch Notes Say It Is)

According to PC/Mac Patch Notes v2.6.8, under FIXES & IMPROVEMENTS, BASE GAME PATCH: Quests & Zones, Deshaan, "Vision Quest: Fixed an issue where you were unable to complete the quest step to examine the gate."

The quest marker still points to a maulborn guard instead of the scamp that is supposed to unlock the gate for me (I had to abandon the quest to take the screenshot).

I was actually excited that a quest that had been bugged for years now had finally been fixed, so I must say I'm slightly disappointed. Do take a look

I have submitted a ticket about this: 161111-000814.

Do note that this issue has been persisting for me for years now. I find it incredibly disappointing that it remains unresolved even though the patch notes have finally explicitly recognised this. I'm not sure this is the kind of customer service I should expect from an AAA game?

Here is a ticket I submitted almost half a year ago about the exact same issue: 160705-002052. It was conveniently marked solved and swept under the carpet even though it clearly hasn't been solved

I quit the game some time ago (in large because of disappointing customer service standards) and am looking to come back in light of the new changes. But this is really off putting
