When you done nothing wrong and you need to wait till able to search again, would someone from the dev team care to explain why this *** feature is part of a "Random grouping" tool?

Well you may have felt that you did nothing wrong but in the eyes of the people that kicked you, you may have been doing many things wrong. Not saying I don't believe you but without the whole story we can't tell what actually happened.

I see these threads quite often but I use group finder almost exclusively and have NEVER been kicked from any group.
For one I don't enter a dungeon with a random group until I know for sure I can hold my own. I don't want to be that person that holds the group back.

Without the group kick function you can't get rid of the nose picker who just went long term AFK without announcing it for the fifth time.

It was at the start I'm level 20, my other character is level 48 and never had a single issue doing these dungeons a 3 year old could hold there own that's how simple it is but people think a low level player can't move and press a combination of buttons like a higher level one so decide to kick, vote to kick shouldn't be in a group finder neither should the cool down if groups useless back out find another one.

Yes. If you are kicked you should not have a timer. Only people who leave groups should have a timer. This was implemented very poorly.

Vote to kick is a good thing for the ability to remove troublesome players. The 15 minute cooldown has to go. You see threads like this every day. The negative effects of the cooldown far outweigh the positives. If it can't be completely removed, perhaps lower it to 3 - 5 minutes if there is some issue with potential abuse.

Exactly there is absolutely no reason for a cool down hence why I asked one of these guys who make/moderate the game to explain the stupidity of the feature, it literally makes zero sense to me.

So if wait thing has been an issue for a while and nothing has been done has it ever been explained to the community why they have it as a feature?

Cooldown is fine, except when it is caused by getting kicked/group disbanding.

Cooldown should only occur when prematurely leaving a dungeon, not for something a player has no control over.

Getting the 15 min timer because of the instant group disbanded problem is annoying.

I've never been kicked from a group but I can see the timer for this is annoying if you've been kicked for no valid reason.

I think changing it so you don't get the timer within the first minute would fix most of the issues people have.

    Group disbanded? No timer

Kicked for being a low level? No timer (NB on vet dungeons, particularly the dlc ones, I can understand people kicking low levels as they don't want to waste their time on something that there's a good chance the group won't be able to do)

kinda weird. had a lvl 14 in my ICP group and we just went on with it. there were a few hiccups here and there but all in all had a lot of fun. dont know why these buggers vote to kick someone based on their level. asa matter of fact, he did better than the cp lvl 200+ o.O

Being kicked should not incur a 15 minute penalty - simple as that. The penalty should only apply if you choose to leave a dungeon.

I have no issue with the vote to kick process but one idea might be to not allow it within the first 10 - 15 minutes of a group forming. That way nobody can kick before the dungeon starts and you might get an opportunity to prove your abilities. If someone really doesn't want to run with you, they can leave and serve the penalty. If you still get kicked after this time, your penalty is over and you can re-queue pretty much straight away.

You know that wouldn't really work a group of 3 could just decide to kick the the random after 15 minutes when dungeon is almost finished to troll, the common sense thing would be not allow players to kick anyone and get rid of the timer completely, its a two year old game how this can't be understood baffles me.

It is pretty simple why it was implemented. To deter people from leaving groups while in a dungeon.

I posted earlier that people who are kicked should not incur the penalty but that won't work either. People will just force the group to kick them if they decide they want to leave but not get the penalty.

If the entire group is disbanded like with the bug that auto disband immediately after the group forming then the players should not have a timer.

But don't act like there is no valid reason for a timer. It is a necessary evil imo.

It is wild that I have never been kicked from any group.

Ok about that dumb half arsed attempt at making an argument for why any timer should exist ever why would it matter if someone decides to leave a dungeon as opposed to being kicked?

Someone else will join in seconds anyway.

With enough of these complaints flooding the forums, I imagine ZoS will eventually implement a CP number selection system (hopefully). In the meantime, I've been having fun pi**ing off people calling for 300+ CP for randoms by asking if it's okay that 100/tumbling, 100/shattering blows, 100/light armor. Amuses me; apparently it doesn't amuse anyone else :D

I'd agree, the feature needs to be available, but if someone is kicked then they shouldn't have a 15 minute wait after.

The disbanded group is also an issue, how does this come up!

We should also have a check box for; do you want to join an in progress dungeon!
