I miss being able to solo the bosses in public dungeons. Nowadays, there are roving groups of boss killers. Even if you think no one is around, someone will appear out of thin air to help finish the boss:)

I also miss the solitary roaming in delves. It can be immersive. Yes, more players in a game is always a good thing but why was the delve boss being camped in every one I visited?

Yeh, I know. "It's an MMO" and "Go play Skyrim". Ha ha.

i miss the low population. nowadays its not possible anymore to find a "home" to manage ones affairs w/out sharing the village/town with at least a dozen other players. As for Dolmens, delves and general exploration its the same...but hopefully it will get less crowded after the event.

I miss being able to get alchemy and enchanting surveys that I can use, since they are all for Wrothgar and I don't have the dlc available. No number of bug reports or customer support tickets seems to budge them from their apathy or inspired them to trade them out for areas where I can go.

I miss being able to go to zones and harvest low level mats... But that's it, the rest is prime. Besides, its made me roll a crafting alt which is freeing in needed skill points on my main, so its turning out to be a boon.

I miss normal dungeons runs duo - I didn't do any since 1T, but we had great fun doing some with 2 players only, on lower level, it was still challenging, because we were missing 2 other players, but it was possible. Now you are limited to 4 and not less if you are not OP. I wish for new custom dungeon finder with the possibility to under level dungeons, so I could do it duo again - not for the equipment, just for the fun.

No.. I haven't played much but I bought this game over a year ago and when I first bought the game I was incredibly turned off by it. It was hard to solo anything past level 5. It was hard to figure out what to do. I couldn't go through quests, I had to stop in the middle because the mobs were just too hard. I got lost a lot and died a lot.

Now I'm having a blast. I can start a quest chain and go until the end then go do another one. If I get lost it's fine! I can explore with out fear of having my face smashed in and I don't need to count on getting help from strangers so much.

Things I miss? Here are a few things I miss (and enjoy) about the new One Tamriel patch:

As a crafter, farmer, and trader, I miss how the writ survey locations were based on your turn-in location. For example, I specifically had several of my alt characters keep their craft knowledge at 9/10 for clothing, blacksmithing, and woodworking just so when I received surveys frequently, that the node spots would be in Craglorn. This made getting nirncrux from lush nodes a super money-maker I do know that according to the recent patch notes that ZOS "Doubled the drop rate of Nirncrux from standard harvest nodes in Craglorn." but unfortunately, the amount of farmers in Craglorn has increased greatly, too, as well as the general population for all things here since the whole zone has been revamped. Most of the time when I do decide to try farming there, I find alchemy plants and runestones that were passed over, and the occasional lonely ruby ash log, heehee. Ores are definitely harder for me to locate, even with my keen eye passive maxed and the grass turned off in my video settings. And why shouldn't they be more difficult to farm? The cost of tempering alloys is really high, and a great gold resource if you get lucky in your ore refining process. I can see how even though someone is there for questing and not farming, the urge to grab ore is only right and everyone's right.

Another thing I miss from pre-OT writ rewards was the amount of gold refining materials I would get. After all six characters were said and done with their daily equipment writs, I had approximately anywhere from 80k-140k gold value in nirncrux AND gold mats, per day. I had a steady profit that did not require much investment. Now, when I turn in writs in Craglorn, I get crates of maple, topgrain hide, and iron (as if I didn't have mass amounts of those already), as well as trait stones and the intricate/ornate items. In comparison to pre-One Tamriel writ rewards, rarely do I receive any gold materials after opening the satchels and crates; maybe I end up with a Rosin and two Dreugh Wax after all three equipment writs-at max level on all six toons. When I get a survey, this happens maybe once every two days, and is located in Glenumbra or Wrothgar. No lies. I want to believe that it may just be I've had the worst RNG since the patch, I really do, but I also believe that sometimes ZOS nerfs things (or buffs) at times without posting word about it, or they will post information but it has to be found by digging around in a thread that might not be the best place.
I do know this sounds whiny, but this did force me to find new ways of making gold which has broadened my trading horizons, even though it will never be as easy as before. I am adapting, which is a good sign since I am an adult (or at least try to be haha).

I do enjoy being able to craft for players of the opposite faction, hassle-free! No longer do I have to receive or send orders via mailbox. It's nice having the customer join me and it feels more interactive and I get to chit-chat while making what they need! There are a lot of nice and interesting people out there.

Farming has become a nightmare for me, as I miss the zones that lacked masses of other players - mostly the Cadwell's Gold zones. However, with the influx of visible players in more places, I won't deny that this seems to be a much-needed "shot in the arm" for the game, as it does feel more alive. Yes, there are noticeable increases of lag in some towns that have attracted many duelists, traders, pledgers, and the like, but it's a good thing. I would rather a city feel alive than dead, and this makes putting up with lag worth it. As far as the zone chat goes, it's always been a mishmash of WTS, WTT, WTB, LFG, idiots, kind folks, trolls, oblivious people, and what have you. It just has become more amplified

I miss being able to just pick a Zone and quietly harvest Material nodes in a nice little circle. Now there's people everywhere.

However, that is balanced by the fact that I seem to be getting Gold upgrade mats from refinement at an increased rate, so... it balances out.
