How do you level Vampire?

Read a few variations online. Do you need to feed? Or use Vamp skills, or just have them slotted? Or nothing and regular XP levels it? I want to top it out fast.

Also do you still need to do a skill point reset before you cure? It used to lock those skill points in if you didn't.

Nothing special, just gaining XP will lvl it automatically

Vampire levels just like your normal character level does - by grinding exp. Having vamp ability on your bars and things like that won't make it go faster, but exp boosts will.
It also seems to level extremely slow the lower level you are. I think once you're around 36-40 it will start to speed up quite significantly.

Nah feeding just decreases your vampire stage. Using vampire abilities will increase your vampire stage, but not level the actual skill line at all.

Just to update, hit L10 pretty quick, took a about a million regular XP, done! No skills slotted etc.

I thought so hence taking it now with Witches Brew and a scroll to get it topped out fast, but guys at the shrine said about feeding etc. Am glad its just XP
