Question to admins/developers on accessing Coldharbour through questing in One tamriel...

Okay, so with the changes One Tamriel made to questing, can I now complete any alliance questline to gain access to Coldharbour, or is access still only achieved by completing the questline of my initial alliance?

Good question.

However, you can do what we always did before, which was simply port to a friend up in that zone. I have not looked on one of my mules (who have done no quests) to see if the WS is unlocked in the Hollow City. So, try that first, otherwise just port to someone you know or are grouped with. All of my mules have access to Coldharbor, and none of them have done any questing beyond the starter islands.

If the WS is not unlocked, it really comes down to should it be unlocked as it would be possible to overall Coldharbor Quest without doing any Alliance Story quests. That might be why it is not initially unlocked so to encourage people to at least follow the story under normal circumstances

Unless I got it wrong, you still need to finish your own Alliance quest before doing Silver & Gold. You can go to other alliances, but not start their main quests before finishing your own.

So you still need to Travel to a Player there. Or, if you have done Vaults of Madness via Activity Finder, you can travel there and exit to mainland (at least this is possible in all overland areas now, if you have travelled to a dungeon there at least once).
