With 1T, what is now the best way to quickly get a new class from 0 to 50?

Can I basically just find one grind spot and just grind for 50 levels with a full set of training gear, and then just do skyshards for points as needed?

I'm just recently back in the game with a cp around 160, and while I like my Sorc and NB, I'm kind of thinking about rolling a healer and start doing some more dungeons and stuff.
Not sure if things have really changed that much as far as getting to 50, but I'm just not loving the idea of going through the whole questing process again for each new level.

Any recommended or favorite areas?

You absolutely can. And with the current event it is the time to do it. Witches Brew is 100% exp gain. Add Psysic Ambrosia and training gear and you are talking massive exp gain. Any quiet public dungeon now will work fine. If you can pair it with leveling fighters guild (deadra) all the better. You also will get a huge number of skulls and hope for a 50K gold box to drop and you can sell all the other loot to pay for your ambrosia. Now that everything scales you can stay in one public dungeon for the whole time. If you can farm naked then equipment damage wont matter, otherwise just equip stuff as it drops.

Right now, due to the Halloween event, a Random Normal Dungeon can get you three levels, and a run of Normal Maelstrom Arena six-to-seven levels. This with Psijic Ambrosia on top of the event XP buff of course.

As far as I know, the general idea is to have a partner, and to stack as many xp bonuses as possible. Then, find a location where the monsters spawn quickly and are easy to group up for quick AoE kills. As it is now, I would make a few sets of training gear for every ten levels, blue if possible. However, with champion points you can adjust that as you like. Some people use just two sets, one for level 10, and another for level 35.

The great thing about one tamriel is that you can pretty much go to any grind spot and just stay there til you get bored, and then move on.

Btw.... What's the best way to move around to new areas now? Is there any way to get a new character from say Auridon to Mornhold without just doing the actual trek? Or should I keep my grind spot in my original area.

They give you wayshrines in each alliance, and you can travel to any friend or guildie to get a direct route.

Public dungeons don't give as much xp anymore.

Staying put in any overland grind spot will do (or move if you want different scenery or targets)

Halloween Event + Training gear + xp scroll + ESO Plus bonus + group of 2 + ring of mara with group partner = massive XP. It can be done in about 8 hours this way if you stay on it.

Gold Coast - main entrance to Jarol Estate, great place for grinding ~14 mobs around - their respawn rate is incredible.
The bad thing is this place is favourite for too many .
I was grinding there before Haloween festival with fresh lvl5 character and 2-3 skills only.

Best way to move around to new areas is to be a members of big trading guilds, because they usually have over 100 players active online playing on different areas - then you just use "travel to player" from guild rooster and you travel wherever you want automatically unlocking wayshrines of the area .

Okay, you guys keep coming through so I'll go with one more question. For a Breton healer, with a limited amount of skillpoints, I'm a bit worried about being able to kill mobs fast enough. Should I just concentrate on one or two Damage skills first for the grind?

You want to level healing while grinding, just slot a Resto Staff skill or two on your bar, then the other 3 or 4 slots have DPS skills. Use your Destro Staff, or whatever your main weapon is for dealing with the mobs. Your Resto staff will level up with the Resto Skills. Swap the skills out as you get them to Morph stage, at least.

Note, you can't use the Resto skills unless you have the staff equipped and active, but your leveling the skills right now, not using them.

Magic Templar is one of the best toons for easy grinding. Sweep is really all you need, but tossing a shard and reflective light on three packs of adds works wonders.

What I like to do when grinding is use my back bar as a buff bar and my front bar as a level bar. Put shards, reflective light, Structured Entropy (spell damage), Breath of life (or combat prayer for more DPS), and purifying ritual (helps with snares from mobs), on your back bar. Then on your front bar, Use sweep and 4 skills you want to level. They can be anything. Even something like a resto staff or sword and board skill. If you dont have those weapons equipped, it will still level the skill and skill line if you slot it. You just wont be able to use the skill.
