Bound armaments + costumes

So.. the infamous bound armaments visuals. Personally, as much as I can live with the bound aegis, the bound armaments is just too much for my taste.
Apart from the distracting fog, looking like 1998 smoke gfx, my biggest problem is the very high brightness of this effect. During daylight, it's okayish, because I can still see the bright armor through it. I try to wear brightly dyed armors, because with dark ones this effect is more overwhelming. However, in darkness, when my armor is not illuminated and looks dark no matter what, all I can see is just some blue stuff floating around.. very immersion breaking.
Science: Assuming that the bound armor is visible in darkness is due to the fact that is is a light source, it should also illuminate my armor, thus making it visible at all times. I imagine this to be resource heavy (additional light source for rendering), so making the blue flame smoother and darker, like in aegis morph or even more, could be a decent tradeoff.
Science: The fog part of the armaments effect is digestible but the flame part is always directed diagonally upwards, even when moving. Do you even physics, bros?

Anyways, being sick of this, and based on what I found on the forums, I decided to check out alternative solutions, i.e. costumes. Unfortunately, the costumes that come for free in game do not hide the bound armor effect. BUT, when I was previewing the crown store costumes, the blue fog was gone! Without any hesitation, I bought 2 armors (knight and noble) hoping that my problems are gone.
Well.. they aren't.
It sucks a lot.
Maybe I should complain in the crown store forum..

Apparently this only worked in the past.. Are there any other tricks in this update?

I don't argue with the statement that the buff should be visible for others, but for the sake of admiring the pretty costumes worth real money, the rules could be more relaxed.
Of course, just a gfx toggle in options would also be great.
I'm not even asking to redesign the whole effect, although there were some fantastic ideas posted on this forum.

Similar thing goes for the lightning form. Apart from being too flashy, it could be just some mild-but-awesome effect like evasion. Some people probably find it cool, but I'm sure most of us would like to keep this game less flashy than WoW or Asian games.
