I really don't care if they exploit it or not. When they start to complain and curse others then and only then will I go after the mammoth. If they wanna sit there it's fine by me. Just don't clutter my text with crazy ***. On the other side it's a great place to farm soul gems. The gear is trash and plunder skulls will be gone after Monday so who really cares.

This has been the excuse of every exploiter every time an exploit comes to "public" knowledge.

Just grief the exploiters by being there, constantly killing the mammoth.

What are they gonna do? Report you?
Put them on ignore and sit your happy arse there, constantly killing that mammoth and ruining their exploitive ways. It's not like you aren't getting loot yourself so really, they can cry all they want and achieve nothing but filling my mug of salty tears for me to enjoy.

The easy solution is to kill the giant and the mammoth if you need the achievement. Because nobody gets to tell you when you can or cannot do that. We all bought the game, we all have equal stake in the activities.

If anyone complains, add them to your ignore list. Don't antagonize them. Don't engage them in zone chat. Just move on to one of the dozens of other opportunities in the game. Then ZOS can assess the 'core group' camping the site.

Because as it stands now, a lot of people are just exacerbating the problem by arguing over it and counter-camping. It's reported. Let ZOS police it.

"Let ZOS police it." That's hilarious. The exploiters have known about this spot and ones just like it for a long time. They even admit to it in zone chat. It's come into prominence due to farming the skulls and people hoping to store all the event only items and go long with them in guild stores. ZOS isn't policing anything like always.

I think you guys just gave me something to do. I'mma go on and see if they're doing it on XB1 NA and if they are, well then it's time to grief the cheaters.

Edit: Oh yeah, counted 20 players doing it right now.

Edit 2: The Mammoth has too much health for me to take down quick enough before it's taunted away, however, singled out the sole player taunting the Mammoth out of bounds and resetting it's health over and over, and now there's a ticket in the system. Another Vigilante job well done.

I posed a video of this problem, hopefully during this maintenance, the issue is fixed, and anyone taking advantage of this exploit gets a good whack on the head with the ban hammer.

Hope you guys are screenshotting the alledged exploiters to send with your reports. Nothing worse than a bunch of cheaters who can't play the game properly. They probably cheat and lie their way in real life, scumbags.

I second this. Even though I knew there was nothing worse than cheating, I actually used cheat codes on GTA3 and I too cheat and lie my way through real life.

A few friends and I went and griefed the exploit for about an hour by priority-killing the mammoth.

We were just clearing WBs in the zone and would have been on our merry way, but we were called bad names and so we stayed. And stayed. And stayed. Until the bad people left. Exploiters are bad people. Bad people make the world a smelly place to live. The End.

I enjoyed making the " rotten folk" mad the other day by killing the mammoth. Taking them on in game and letting them know that some of us do not care for their language, behavior and attitude.
I would like to add a positive comment here for ESO: the Halloween Content is fun, fun, fun and our guild has been having an amazing good time. I am looking forward to the "New Years" activities and housing. So Thank You and know that there is appreciation even when we are reporting the things we think need a fix.

This is really one exploit that allows you to grief the griefers. Well done to anyone who kills the mammoth. It's the greifers that usually tell people on here and in-game that they're free to do what they want as they paid for the game too. Yet they fail to see the irony in their complaints when someone comes in and messes up their exploits and they're the ones dictating to others how to play the game. It's a bit similar to those who spew hate speech come out with their "free speech" comeback whilst completely ignoring the fact those people telling them they're idiots are exercising their right to free speech too by telling them they're idiots.
