I played back in 2014 and early 2015. I burned out and quit until now. I have clothing crafter over 40 and Blacksmith at 49. I have a provisioner at 44 and a Enchanter at 46, and a Woodworker at 36. For all this, I forgot how to play. I really mean I forgot EVERYTHING. Back in the day, I used to love my Templar for PVP. I will now play both pve and pvp about equally. Considering from what I have been reading the last few days, the game mechanics have morphed more than once. I am lost. More like overwhelmed with game content and detail and play style mechanics.
I really have to learn the game over until I reach some kind of saturation where it all comes back to me. Give me, 2 bar, Weapon suggestions, without dual wield, I disliked the dual wield play style back in the day and therefore don't want it now. I am thinking Sword and Board on one bar and a 2hSword on the other. But I am willing to listen. Armor I can make just about anything with any stats due to Enchanter, Blacksmith and Clothier, and Armor Sets I have no problem there.
I need BAR suggestions on what skills to level and use, front and back bars spells and weapon skills. I need a starting point and don't want to waste skill points in useless skills or passives. I would like to be a Magic Templar so waiting for your opinions/suggestions/input. Please help me regain my footing and Thanks.

Flowersquisher✭✭✭considering your weapon choices, i'd say you're better off going with a sun shield build. All your stats into stam and build for weapon damage. The 2h has a wicked ultimate now, so look into that, and SnB has great defense. Whatever you do, magic or stam, heavy armor is a must in pvp these days, and if you not running at least 5 impen(7 better) and sharpened weapons, you'll have a tough time.0 -

Flowersquisher✭✭✭i cant help with tanky builds, the are lots of sun shield builds though, so look for those. As for sets, Black Rose is a great set for magic or stam templars (any class for that matter), so start there, and yes at least 5 heavy0

Flowersquisher✭✭✭No, cant help you there, sorry. I main a magplar with staves, i have no idea about weapons. I do get rekt by dizzing swing alot though, pretty sure that is a two handed spam0

Rexx✭yeah it was one of my Fav go to with 2h Maul. Charge with Brawler and then a couple dizzy. Amazing results. Ok, I have a guildee that's willing to spend some time with me. I will get it sorted but hey, any other opinions out there are very welcome, please.0
