Syvarra's Scales Style Change? (Ra Gada)

I was very happy when I read that Syvarra's Scales will drop in Hew's Bane now like any other set, but just as disappointed when I got around to farm some pieces.

Every piece I found, from treasure chests or delve bosses, was in the Thieves Guild style, not in the Ra Gada style this set used to be in.
Usually style changes are not such a big deal to me, but because Syvarra's Scales was the only set with the Ra Gada style, this also means that this style has been effectively removed from the game (although it can still be found on Syvarra's Scales pieces that dropped before One Tamriel). Further, Syvarra's Scales now only drops in medium, and Bahraha's Curse in light.



Top two are post-One-Tamriel in Thieves Guild style, bottom on is pre-One-Tamriel in Ra Gada style.

Is this intentional, or just an oversight?

This could be a small-ish error in code introduced in 1Tamriel Update:

cos: from heist reward bag - im 100% positive that Baraha Curse drop in all armor class (i got medium legs yesterday) AND that Syvarra drop in Ra Gada style - or at least my addon say so (could be wrong if my addon is showining me old style)

Maybe they added those styles to chests/troves with small error that changed the visual style of this set on new pieces looted ?


btw you are right -in thieves troves before the patch you could only get 1 of 3 "thief" styles

Interesting. I'll have to run more heists again to confirm that myself. That would at least keep Ra Gada in the game, but I still hope this was simply a mistake and all Syvarra Scales drops should come in the Ra Gada style.

Telel

This one can confirm that the set's style has indeed changed, and that it seems all of the pices are medium as well.

This one got a Jack the other night, and it was not the Ra Gada style. Telel also had an older jack that is still the original style.

Also, their heavy armor chest piece is still the same, as are the shields and weapons they had before the patch.

Kemono

This one report:
this one got one syvarra pauldron from treasure map chest -it was medium pauldron, in thieves guild style
this one also got one drop from heist bag -it was mace in Ra gada style

So this one thinks that hes guess in post #2 is correct: there is some error with 1Tamriel update, and all new places where Syvarra drop are borked --not only in style but also in armor class. Syvarra always drop as medium, and bahraha always drop as light from chests (new source of drop)

Corect drops -both is Ra Gada style & all armor clases are avaible ONLY from heist bag (but those are bind on equip, so maybe you got lucky in some guild stores?)

iam looking for heavy .. and i feel like its too expensive .. i really wanna get this armour wish i could make it.. as in make it myself..
but not sure if you can.. meh o well--
i hope the heavy armour drops.. too because the past 5 days no heavy pieces at all..
