Exactly. These are just more inconvenient to do. I heard theres a higher chance for tempers to drop, but that can literally mean nothing.Lady_Rosabella wrote: »
My guess is it would take a lot of rewritten code to make it so the writs and loot would be skill based instead of zone based.
Why still Orsinium delivering, that's my question.
Lady_Rosabella wrote: »Agreed @Lord_Wrath..... 8 of my characters are maxed out in crafting and now not only do I have to go to Craglorn to do the writs and wait for each character to log out in 10 seconds, wasting valuable playtime, I am crafting cp150 stuff using a ton of ancestor silk, ruby ash, rubedite, and rubedo leather to complete the writs, but now you give me shipments with junk materials that do not nearly compensate me for the mats I used to complete the writs. Also all the "lower tier" mats you give me are all "refined" leaving no chance to refine them myself to get tempers and such out of them.
Oh and don't even get me started on the random zone surveys....I have my 9th character at say 9/10 passive to do those writs in Craglorn to get the surveys "IN CRAGLORN" for the chance to get nirncrux and yet all his surveys take me to off the wall zones? Are you freakin kidding me?
@ZOS_GinaBruno, @ZOS_RichLambert, @ZOS_JessicaFolsom what were you guys thinking???
No more crafting writs for me except Provisoning, Alchemy, and Enchanting!!
^I never understood why they did this to begin with. I actually reported it as a bug the first time I picked up a full set of writs in Auridon, completed them in Auridon and dropped off most of them in Auridon, then had to travel to Eldenroot to drop off the last two. When it happened the next day I started asking around and found out that it's based on your skill level but that never made sense to me.
Since you can pick up writs of any level in any town I think you should be able to drop them off in any town as well. If that's not possible for some reason then the drop-off point should be in the same town as you received the writ.
I always thought the reason behind this was that the shipments for different materials are required in different areas.

@ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom
This needs to be fixed fast. Max level crafting needs to be changed back to a Wrothgar turn in and changed so we get something useful instead of trash matts. Please.

I like the idea of going all over tamriel to get the surveys, gives me a reason to go and forrage in other zones
I think I see the thinking behind the low level stuff, max level crafters wanting to get lower lever stuff for alts and other players but it's a nonsense, my lower levels are perfectly capable of farming the mats and dumping them in the bank for the big crafter to use. Total waste of time, why not just up the survey drops by a few percent?
