Unique set pieces have the same trait

Hello,

I have been farming Soulshine and Senche gear in Reaper's March for several hours. I've seen Big Ozur's Ogre Grips of Soulshine (Unique) 6times so far. They all come with the Reinforced trait. Is there any way to get Soulshine gloves with any other trait like Impenetrable? Same goes for Senche pants. Looks like they only come as Unique and in Infused.

  • Fix Volendrung (spawn location - weapon white on the map causing the wielder to keep it forever - usable with emperorship)
  • Remove / Change CPs System, remove current CP/noCP campaigns and introduce one 30days with lock, one with no locks
  • Fix crashes when approaching a keep under attack because of bad / wrong rendering prioritization system
  • Change emperorship to value faction score points and not alliance points - see this and this
  • Fix long loading screens (mostly caused by players joining group out of rendering range)
  • Add 2 more quickslots to the wheel or add a different wheel for sieges weaponry only
  • Fix Balista Bolts not dealing damage on walls or doors if deployed at a certain place
  • Release bigger battlegrounds with 8 to 16 players per team and only two teams
  • Fix the permanent block animation - see examples : link1 link2 link3 link4 link5
  • Gives players 10 minutes to get back into Cyrodiil after relogging / crashing
  • Add a function to ignore the Claiming system of useless rewards
  • Improve the Mailing System / Rewards of the Worthy stacking
  • Assign specific group sizes to specific campaigns (24-16-8)
  • Make forward camps impossible to place near objectives
  • Make snares only available from ground effects abilities
  • Change emperorship to last minimum 24hours
  • Fix body sliding after cc breaking too quickly
  • Remove Block Casting through Battle Spirit
  • Fix the speed drop while jumping - see video
  • Fix loading screens when keeps upgrade
  • Fix Rams going crazy (spinning around)
  • Bring back dynamic ulti regeneration

    That's weird Zos didn't say the overland sets came in fixed traits.

    That's not exactly it. In other words, it looks like its impossible to get a 5pc of overland drops with the trait you want because some of the pieces of the set are unique and a unique piece come in only one specific trait if I understood it correctly.

    Ohh I see what your saying that's weird and I hope isn't the case and your RNG just sucks lol.Hopefully in a few hours @ZOS_GinaBruno can give us a idea of what happening.

    Public dungeon bosses and general mini bosses have a chance to drop gloves.

    The reason why you're seeing these unique items is because they are tied as part of quest rewards or something similar. You can get a normal soul shine gloves from the above.

    Overland sets are BoE, so may be you can check the guild stores to see if anyone is selling a piece with a different trait?

    Allright so in other words, overland world bosses will drop unique version of some items. For example, Big Ozur will drop the unique Soulshine gloves with the Reinforced trait on it. If I want to get the normal Soulshine gloves drop with all the traits available, I must kill mini-bosses in the public dungeon(s) of the same area?

    Taken from the patch notes:

    Itemization Changes

    -Item Sets will now drop for every item slot.
    -Non-Dungeon Bosses
    ->Delve bosses will now drop a waist or feet set piece from the zone they are located in.
    ->Overland group bosses drop head, chest, legs, or weapon set piece from the zone they are located in.
    ->Public dungeon bosses drop a shoulder, hand, or weapon set piece from the zone they are located in.
    ->Many of these Bosses have a small chance to drop a uniquely-named item, instead of the expected set piece. This uniquely-named item is also a part of one of the sets of the zone they are located in, but may not adhere to the dropped slot guidelines above.


    You're just not looking at the right place.
